I'm guessing he bought some photography lighting equipment and an inexpensive tripod and cheap microphone. You can get started with even less money if you repurpose stuff around the house or buy cheap stuff online (Online, you can find a wired microphone, tripod and phone holder for $1apiece). If you shoot in natural light or use lamps you already own, you can spend even less (provided you already own a video camera....which everyone does (smartphone).

i just never understand how you merge microphone with video by shooting with your phone without connecting them
@deasttn6 жыл бұрын
KZbin allows you to mute the audio that you video camera recorded and use a mp3 sound file, instead (lots of folks merge music in their videos). What you'd do is merge the mp3 audio recording, instead of a music file. Give it a try. Video record a small video and simultaneously record your voice with a digital sound recorder (use an old smartphone to record just the sound...you might need a voice recording app on that phone). Then, save both the video file and audio file to your computer. Upload the video file to youtube and mute the audio. Then upload your voice mp3 file on to your video and sync them together so the sound matches up. It's really pretty easy to layer them together..
@PlanetGamz5 жыл бұрын
I just bought a microphone that plugs into the headphone Jack on my phone. No merging or anything. That simple. That's if your phone has a headphone Jack which is why I use galaxies & not iPhones. I bought a small microphone that clips onto my shirt & plugs into my phone cause I dont like to have a huge microphone sitting in front of my face like people do. It's annoying to watch people like that in my opinion. I paid $6 for the mic on Ebay. I paid $7 on Ebay for a stand like this guy has that twists around different stuff. I use a free editing software on my phone & I spent $10 for a small can of paint & painted a wall in my big walk in closet to serve as my backdrop & set a small white table & chair in front of that wall & paid $8 for a bulb I put into my closet over head light fixture & bam, for $23 I have a full studio & everything to film it.
@michellewaffle4 жыл бұрын
@@PlanetGamz Where did you get the mic? Do you have a link to the type it was? Does it plug into your laptop too (macbook air for instance) if you choose to film using your laptop camera sometimes?
@jg1jg2fightersquadronwarwi137 жыл бұрын
If you have a friend or a family member who is a musician you may be able to use or buy audio from them and they are usually more knowledgeable. I have over $90k in mics, sound boards, sound racks and stage lighting. It does a phenomenal job, ***BUT** I don't have the personality and no longer have the voice quality and articulation to be a sucessful video personality. Your personality, voice quality and articulation cannot be replaced by any amount of equipment. Keep up the good work.

What about best camera under 500 ish, was thinking panasonic g7 But any other ideas?
@PaulBradfordTech7 жыл бұрын
+DarklordVidz The G7 is great, but if you are new to filming I would recommend something like a Canon T3i, T4i, or T5i, or maybe a Nikon D3300. G7 is a little hard to work with because the file sizes are much larger if you film in 4K and the M4/3 sensor is annoying to deal with.
@Darklord7 жыл бұрын
Paul Bradford ahh ok, was looking at canons t series but the bodys are mostly sold seperately to a lens which is kinda a pain...
@SpringtideMedia7 жыл бұрын
Get the g7, Canon is terrible, well not terrible but not as good as the g7. File sizes are larger when filming 4k but you can still record in 1080p and have small file sizes, and yes there is a 2x crop but the T3i and all of them still have something like a 1.6x crop, not much of a difference, and the low light is still better on the g7 even with its small sensor size. I have both the T3i and the g7 and I would always choose the g7, a much better camera in my opinion.

You put the sound together at editing. 1. You make a loud sound like clapping, so you match them up or you. 2. Zoom in so close during editing to be able to connect the beginning of the audio to that on the video. Then you mute the audio from the video.
@PRAISEGODMEDIA6 жыл бұрын
If you want to connect a microphone directly to a smartphone so you don't have to mess with the audio in post, you can just buy a 3.5mm male to 2 dual female Y splitter. I use it when I shoot a video. You connect the microphone into the pink female input. the green female input is for headphone which I use so I can listen to the audio while I shoot video interviewing someone. Usually the dual female Y splitter will have the symbols on them. Now, make sure the microphone has its own power which will allow you shoot video outdoors if you like. I am including the link for the splitter. www.walmart.com/ip/3-5mm-Male-to-2-Dual-Female-Stereo-Headphone-Microphone-Audio-Y-Splitter-Cable-Adapter-Plug-Jack-Cord/269698219
