How to Make Zenith CH750 RC Plane and Fly it

This video is a continuation from previous video which is about how to design RC plane plans. When designing RC plane plans, we need to build and test it to fly so we can improve the plans. I made this model using Blender 3D program, Pepakura Designer and together with Inkscape. You can find part 1 of how to use it on my channel. This Zenith CH750 model is modelled exactly the same with the real one but it's smaller, the wingspan is 120cm or 47.2 inches. I usually modified, or enlarge the size of the wing and stabilizer when converting it to RC model, but this time I make it exactly scale for education purpose. The model finally can fly after some trial, but with some adjustment from the real one.

Very Cool! If you design a small RC plane you should take into account that the air molecules are bigger relatively; some equipment will not work at all and some will have disproportionate effects (spoilers, flaps...).

Another great video! My friend, can you tell us where you order your foam? I tried to find some and was not very successful. I got some foam board sheets st dollar tree, and after Peeling the paper off was able to make the dc-3 fuselage, but the quality is pretty poor, and the foam is substandard.

Thanks. I bought it on my local shop, in here the foam doesn't have paper coat on it. Maybe you can use pink/ blue insulation foam and then cut it thin by using hot wire?

I think the problem with the unstability was the little bit of anhedral on the wings. Its like dihedral, but reversed. A little bit of dihredral would have helped so much.

that was one of my concern but apparently after I trimmed out the slats or even without slats, it's actually stable because in flight the wing will straight

Ah your a much better pilot than I am, on maiden. 5 attempts at building YRF4E first proof of concept flew free flight, and I was excited to build it a big brother, which was destroyed on maiden, and so it went thru 5 I'll fated attempts, have two new ones in basement , 45 mm duct fan and twin 70 mm ...I shall not fly them as the rules for flying in the US are ....let's say up in the air ...lol in reality my hands and eyes betray me .
