I embrace the fact that there’s going to be some chaos 😅 Household chores like cleaning, laundry, paper work etc, have to wait. Instead I take care of my self and relax, eat well, sleep, etc. Oh and I tell my friends and family that they won’t hear much from me for a while

I end up writing out my schedule in time blocks and try to stick to it as it helps me see where I can stop, slow down and breathe between the chaos.

I’m in high school. Have four classes, 3 of which are college duel enrollment, dance with my studio 3times a week, dance with a local company two times a week(most of the day), take piano lessons, teach art classes, and help with my baby brother. Post It Notes are lifesavers!!! I write down each days goals and mark them off until I throw the sticky note away at the end of the day. So daily planning and also just making sure the Lord is in everything I do is how I manages my schedule. That’s the key. Make sure whatever you’re doing is for the Lord.

Hi Hannah! I really appreciate your honesty with feeling overwhelmed in the midst of a busy schedule, your willingness to accept help from your family, and your commitment to giving the Lord the first place in the morning. As much as I enjoy watching your videos, as your schedule contiues to be packed, feel free to either do a summary of sorts once things calm down or shorter videos with quick updates and/or you dancing. 😃

thank you so much. I really appreciate your comment and concern. It really does alleviate some of the pressure I put on myself to put out the videos each week. I am trying my best to balance it, but not finding it super easy at the moment :)

Sooooooo much Hannah dancing on this vlog!! 😍 Yes, please I would love to see an Ireland vlog!! ☘️ Congratulations on getting your very own menu item! 🥣 Performing in the evening after at least two very busy long days is definitely a test. And performing at your school probably brings back a lot of memories! You know every girl in the audience is wishing that she will be like you soon! Hopefully your inner voice was acknowledging that, although you feel your dancing was not perfect, stepping outside of your comfort zone, enjoying every minute, and being grateful for the experience are all very praiseworthy! Also, hopefully your inner voice was being supportive and using perceived imperfection as inspiration to improve! Imagine when you achieve your goal of dancing the solo or principal role you want - how much you will look back on this performance and be able to evaluate the differences. 😃 Every Halara item you wear looks like it was tailor-made for you! I'm just looking at the website now ... Thanks again for making such an effort to create this vlog, despite your crazy busy week! Best wishes to you, and all your family and friends! 🙏💛🌸🌿🩰🎵🍓🐚🌛

Thank you so much for all these encouragements. Sometimes in the moment I do not feel so positive about all the things I did and achieved in a week, but now upon reflection I feel much more happy with it. It shows that time can be helpful in having more rational outlooks on events and achievements!

@@HannahMartinRG yes, this is an important philosophical breakthrough that you have discovered! There is an expression “time is the great healer.” It’s perfectly understandable that a perfectionistic mind will be very sensitive to that which may not have been completely perfect. It’s a part of one’s personality that cannot be shut off. But once one is aware of this, one can choose to deal with it in a positive way. Are the criticisms valid? Precise? Like “I did ABC when CDE would have been better. But DEF would have been worse. I really have to work on CDE.” Or are they more vague and negative like “I should have done that better” or “ I always mess up that part.” The first ones you can evaluate as to how legitimate they are and whether you want to change anything in your performance. The second kind are just nasty, and unhelpful, and you wouldn’t say that to a friend. These kind of thoughts become more prevalent when the blood sugar is low and one is tired. Try visualizing a box that you empty the negative thoughts into with the intention of maybe looking at them later. Then have something to eat and watch some tennis or something that distracts you from your everyday world. If you choose to look at the box of thoughts the same evening, remind yourself before you start that you are your best friend, and that you are only going to be looking at thoughts that can help your performance improve. If you find that mean, nasty thoughts are intruding, you can keep a tally sheet of how many times you had such thoughts, and how many times you rejected them in favour of something more positive and helpful! I use a system of exclamation marks and emojis to mark positive thoughts! I know it sounds like an idea for elementary school kids, but somehow it really makes a difference to my overall mood! Wishing you all the best! 🙏😎❣🍀🌊🩵🐬💫

Hey Hannah! As always thank you so much for your videos. I love how you have such a great balance of spiritual connection throughout your life and career. If this isn't too personal a question. How do you manage your menstrual cycle with your dancing? I don't dance anymore other than at a party but when I did ballet found when I was on my period my balance would be off a bit as well as my flexibility. Is this something you have experienced?

Heya! thank you for your openness and honesty. I think this is a topic that I would have to go a bit more detail in within a video. But certainly I find my mood and body function play a huge part in how I can perform and deal with the mental struggles that come with being a professional dancer. I will see if I can expand more in a future video x

It was a study being done within our organisation to see the calorific needs and energy expenditure of the dancers within the company. This should help us understand how we need to fuel our bodies to be at peak performance level.

Sorry to say this… but Hannah, can you sit down and ask yourself this question: Can I live like this (eat, sleep, train, work) for the next 5-10 years? Be sincere with yourself. I am 111% sure you will answer no. You don’t have the energy, you overtrain yourself constantly, I bet if you have period still isn’t regular, your nutrition as a pro athlete is crazy-> I used to eat this little when I was 8 yo, and not as a pro athlete. Sorry to sound rude, bot honestly seeing this is just crazy to me. That’s exactly what separates great pro athletes who retired young and/or with injuries from those who retire when they want without injuries. I bet she won’t last more then 2 more years…
