Dear REAPER7, Any job experience will fulfill job experience criteria. However, all scholarships and funding are competitive, and usually the more appropriate work experiences receive preference in these sectors. Hope it helps!

How important is it that the job I'm doing is directly related with the subject I want to pursue in master's level? There are many factors such as vacancies available, competition and pay scale which usually aren't favorable altogether at once. Especially if you're living on your own in Dhaka and have to pay your rent, pay for food and all other necessities and on top of that pay for costs related to the application process, salary becomes the number one factor that dictates what type of job you have to do. So, in a lot of cases you might have to take on jobs which pay well but are not directly related to your target degree.

Dear Anika Mariyam, Walaikum Assalam! Funding is more common for PhD candidates than for MS candidates. However, that does not mean the number of MS funded candidates are less! We would recommend you to email faculty members of USA expressing your interest and profile properly. If they like you, they might offer you a PhD position in case they do not have a funded MS position available. Dear Adit Hasan, Thank you for a good inquiry. Answering your last question first - it is highly recommended that you show your work experience documents to your professor / university. It is not mandatory, but as these are competitive scenarios, having job documents is a must in our view. As for the naming mistake - it is best that the HR provides you a corrected work certificate. However, if you have email proof that HR has admitted to the mistake, you can correct your certificate yourself and submit it accordingly. But please keep proof that you are not changing the certificate in a malicious way. Hope it helps!
