Just a little tip: instead of going into the view menu to rotate the artboard back to 0°. You can go down to the bottom left corner (beside the zoom % box) and hit the drop down arrow and change the artboard rotation there.

when you're off-setting the path at 2:35ish, which tool is "making the offset" white? if that makes any sense. rather, what step would i take after I offset the path and combine the letters to make the white space...?

@@hannahkasprzak297 hi! Sorry, I just noticed that it cut out that part. After I’ve done the offset path, I select both the path and the object and then use the pathfinder tool. I used the 2nd option in the pathfinder toolbar in this example. Hope this helps!

I just saw some amazing graphic designs and at the time I was actually looking to start making money online and I now believe it's met to be since I was your profile and started from scratch learning all to know about graphic designs. That’s bizarre! Did you duplicate your current tile first? Window > New Window. And then you will be able to go Window > Arrange > Tile. Let me know if this works?

Hi! That’s strange.. you may have an outline on your text so when you expand it, it expands the outline. Or your document could be in outline mode. Does it still happen today?

@@tobiassomething1188 No need to apologize 😃 There are 2 ways to do it: 1) Select the word, right click and select ‘create outlines’. 2) Select the word, go to the top toolbar and click object > expand. Hope this helps!
