*thank you for mentioning Better Help isn't good!* I'm so passionate about that. there are so many things wrong with them. just a couple: they don't actually make sure their therapists are licensed, most recently a company paired with them and stole a ton of therapists' professional and personal info and made profiles for them where people looking for therapists can go, and when you would click on their availability, it would always say no availability and redirect you to Better Help. and therapists can't delete their profiles on there w/o claiming them. there's more and I'm at work rushing this comment so if you're interested in this further, I've seen *actual licensed therapists* all over the internet talk about it (: also rq just so many people have had horrible experiences with Better Help and their therapists

Hey Jake, I actually have experienced some horrendous malpractice at the hands of Boston Children's Hospital, too. I would love to share experiences :) I was going to apply for the Never Stop fund to help me pay for the service dog that I need in order to stay independent (due to seizures, a heart condition, a spinal cord defect similar to spina bifida, and several more conditions) a few months ago but I ended up losing the info I had written after spending hours on writing out my answers so I ended up giving up on it because I was too overwhelmed and exhausted to start over 😅 Anyway it was really nice to see you mention your BCH story even if it was just a quick mention near the start of the video, and pardon me if I just skipped over the story somewhere and didn't pay close enough attention lol, I just came back on KZbin today after not opening it in a few months

Omg, I'm so sorry that the hospital actually suggested Munchausen's! What a cop out! Terrible. 😔 I also had a "mysterious" illness. Turns out it was most likely Interstitial Cystitis(refused to take the test to confirm bc that was also scary & painful ☹️). I was in so much pain I couldn't work anymore. Thankfully it seems to have resolved after treating my acidity; which I learned to do from a random forum post! Thank god the for internet. 🙏🏻 So I totally feel you. Being in constant pain is indescribable. So many ppl dont understand until it happens to them. I considered unalivïng bc I couldn't fathom living the rest of my life like that. Sorry that's dark lmao. I hope you're feeling better, Jake & getting proper treatment! 🙏🏻 Going through something so dark really shapes you into a better person, I stg.
