So nice to hear people like me that enjoys playing offline. That's old school gamer right there. It's just you and the game for your enjoyment. They promised us a sandbox. I wish they had sliders that could effect top25 criteria like the excel created for ncaa14. And a slider that could adjust what pitches are important to players would be nice. I imagine making playing time the most important thing for all elite recruits would be awesomely chaotic

A good start? What are you talking about? CF25 is like the 22nd edition in the EA franchise. Every single one of those editions was a better game than the garbage that CF25 is when you factor in available technology. The editions of the mid 2000s were near perfection and what made the games so popular in the first place. CF25 is by far one of the most poorly developed sports games in the past 2 decades. It's barely even a graphics improvement over NCAA14. A simple re-skin of the 2005 edition (when they introduced athletes and home field advantage) would have been 1,000s of times better than this incomplete, clunky, and glitchy trash they delivered in 25. There is no excuse for how pathetic of a product they delivered. If there were any other studios with licenses to make a CF game, the EA franchise would be dead in the water right now.

Can confirm this also works for online dynasty but it’s a little bit trickier and you have to use a workaround. Instead of doing everything off of one main account, you have to make an alternate/burner account and either invite yourself into the league or join it. Process is pretty much identical to offline after that. Only caveat is after you encourage transfers for one team, you have to retire the coach and rejoin the entire dynasty over again each time which does become a bit of a hassle. BUT, it does work for online dynasties as well for anyone wondering.

I thought that encourage transfers happened after the portal?

Whenever you take over an AI controlled team during or after the CFP, the "encourage transfer" screen will always appear (since their season is technically over). Even before the transfer portal opens. Just to be petty, if there is a team you can't stand for whatever reason, this is a sure way to completely destroy their program by making their top freshmen, sophomores, and juniors transfer. After the seniors are drafted or graduate, they'll basically have a 70s-low 80s rated roster that will take them multiple years to replenish, while their prestige plummets because they basically suck.

I've never checked but when you encourage players from your own team do they actually show up in the portal or do they just vanish?

They show up. My qb was a senior but woulda been behind my RS freshman. The senior signed to my rival. Whooped his hoe ass following year lmao

In my experience it’s about 50/50 if they will wind up on a team or not. Had some guys go to other programs and some disappear entirely

In the offline mode, It does not give me the option to create new character. Triagle forces me to invite other players even in the players leaving screen. How can I fix this? Thanks.

I created a coach when i started my Rutgers dynasty. So essentially if i do this I will lose all progress made with my coach since I didn’t use the AI generated fake coach to start? Just want a little more clarity on this before I attempt it.

If I’m understanding your question correctly, as long as you aren’t retiring your coach at Rutgers you should be fine. You cannot force your own guys into the portal
