Hi, Thanks sooooo much buddy. I tried what you said and guess what my sunroof is now shut. All this after popping in to a so called specialist local dealer that was trying to charge/set me up to pay £1000 plus. Great work fella

my 2005 Mini is stuck open about 3 inch's, I can't move it. The sun roof motor runs but the sunroof doesn't move and can't move it by hand, any ideas.

Sounds like water got in and rest of the motor ? The motor gears got frozen. You would have to take it apart and rebuild. It could be the second problem.
