Is there a way to make the paddles their own unique buttons. For example I play warthunder, and it is a game designed for PC originally. So I need more buttons for different factions. I don’t want the paddles to be a representation of a button I already have.

Im sure u no this.. but if u use ur elite on xbox. they have double more functions (record, party chat, ect.). My question is: Is there a way to add any of the functions not available on PC with elite 2. that u can add to ur setup, and will work when connected to ur PC? (For example, while on PC I can't use my shift n right stick function to record last 1 min. )

You can stop the disconnecting of the blue tooth by going to device manager and go to blue tooth device and then properties/power management and uncheck the box that allows the pc to turn it off when not in use.

Edit: So found the cable. It was just in a hidden bullsh*t spot inside the packaging with no indication there was anything else in the box at all My controller didn't come with a cable and I am already pissed off about that. But that is not the issue I am having. IT KEEPS SCREENSHOTTING EVERY TIME I PRESS A OR B on my LAPTOP!! Do you know how to fix this

Yes you can do that. Swap both the x&y axis of the two sticks and it will give you that effect.

This video only shows how the re mapping works with the xbox accessories app, i came here looking for a solution where i can assign my paddles p1 to p4 to a specific key or as a paddle input itself because i am unable to use those paddles to assign shift up and shift down inputs in forza. If anybody who sees this comment can help please do

Not sure if you figured it out but you can’t connect via Bluetooth or have anything besides your mouse, keyboard, and controller plugged in. Also, some cables will work while others won’t as some only transfer power while others transfer data. You need a cable that transfers data, the only way to know is if you buy one or if you try multiple different ones until one works, it took me a while to find the right cable.

How are you all able to use your elite series 2 controller? Mine tells me to update. Once updated it won’t let me use the controller. Spent 1 hour trying to figure out how to revert the update. Going forward from there I cannot update it (because it won’t work) or configure. Telling me to update. How did you guys bypass all of this?

Thanks for the video.. I think microsoft kinda dropped the ball on the potential for this controller though. Remapping buttons to other buttons is probably not even useful at all and while the shift feature is nice for a few actions on the paddles they easily could do sooo much more imo. Would like to see them add the ability to integrate with individual games controls more. Also they should have options for each button like long press, double tap, hell even triple tap why not? So instead of having to shift + button just map the action to a long press or double tap. Would be nice if you could map buttons, paddles, or actions (such as long press or double tap) on them to slots on an in-game selection wheel or hotbar as so many games have. This is speaking from a console perspective mostly but would also be able to map pc games better. With that many combinations and mapping options you could put the entire keyboard on a controller. Maybe its just me but this is what this controller should be. Im pretty sure there are a couple pc programs that allow it for pc but microsoft dropped the ball imo 🤷‍♂️
