Another cracking tutorial / guide many thanks, I'm new to Samsung Notes on the S24 Ultra. Working through and cherry picking what I need to cover is great. You are Clear, Loud and Precise (CLaP) as I was told was & is KEY when being instructed in the RAF how to "Instruct" to a class / group. Later in life taught how to teach too :-) Loud not over loud, however, many a channel the folks presenting have poor volume even for me on MAX I can barely hear. I appreciate the timeline Pop-Up what part too.

The only thing Samsung notes is missing (I think) that would be nice is the ability to re-order checklist items up and down the list without retyping. This feature is available in Keep and One Note. If this is possible, someone please explain how to do this.

I really enjoyed and appreciated this video. I believe that Samsung Notes is perhaps the most complete, for my needs, note-taking app created. Fantastic features but limited to the Samsung ecosystem. Apart from my Samsung phones, I have a chromebook which I wish could put this app on! Do you have any suggestions for a comparable app for chromebooks? I also would like to see you handle an exploration of Samsung Calendar. I prefer that to Google Calendar! Thanks for any feedback!

If you save a note to Samsung Cloud from your Galaxy phone, you'll then need ANOTHER Samsung product (with Samsung Notes) in order to get that document? What if I want to import a note I took to my generic desktop through Samsung Cloud? I'm having a hard time finding the note on Samsung Cloud (and this might've answered why).

In order to access the Note in Samsung Notes, you would need another Samsung product correct. However, you can sync your notes to One Note and access them on Microsoft laptops (but I believe only to view, not edit)

The main issue is Tags, when searched by tags it should open the page where tag is mentioned,it now just open whole document nd we have to manually search for the tag in 100s of page

Thanks great video. The only thing I can't find is the magic title feature. On previous version when you hit Title, magic button appears where it gives you title options with one option to make the first line of your note the title.

Wait, you use the Samsung keyboard too!? Great video. I'm using the Notes app but sparingly because its mot cross -platform. I believe Samsung notes paired with Samsung reminders can beat out the likes of Todoist and Apple notes. as well as Google Keep and Task. Just would like some cross-platform apps. I write an entire book in this app with my phone, it's wonderful but I have an issue when I highlight a text and try to add something to the first pages, the entire highlighting corrupt and move out their places also, I can't lock a page so when I add or remove something it doesn't change, and that's so frustrating

Just found out that Samsung Notes no longer runs on Windows PCs unless they are from Samsung. What nonsense, this company policy (worse than Apple) makes using Notes pointless. So I'll stick with Google Keep.

It will work on any Windows PC if you use version 4.3.150.0 or older. Of course the old version will probably not support all features, but for most of the notes I use it works perfectly well. You just have to make sure to disable the automatic update of the app in Microsoft store, which is set to "enabled" by default.

@@techwithbenefits Apple Notes can be accessed from any device that is capable of running a browser, same as Keep. And Samsung Notes ran on every Windows PC until that feature was killed a few months ago.

@ferencpopovics3845 so you'll need to go to good lock and get the NavStar module. Then turn on extra gesture settings. Then go to the display settings in the main settings menu, find navigation bar and go to the extra settings option and turn off the gesture hint!

I like to sort my notes into folders and use "All Notes" for the items that have not been sorted yet. However, this keeps the note in both places. It drives me crazy! Any ideas, so I can have what I want?

I would avoid using the All Notes tab and just use the folders tab. The folders tab shows the folders at the top and then any items unsorted underneath!

@karenrich9092 yeah, all notes is every note on the phone, the folders button in the hamburger menu is like all notes, but shows you the folders and also the notes not in folders, I would use that view instead of the all notes tab!

One thing you can do is create the notes on the Samsung phone, then actually save it as a word document. You can then later utilize Samsung Dex or just email it to yourself and open as a Microsoft word document on whatever other device you want to edit in.

fingerprints are LESS secure than password. Someone has to know your password, or guess it, however if you are sleeping or in police custody they can use your finger to unlock without your permission.

It will open the calculator to solve very basic math problems like addition, division, multiplication and subtraction. Notes used to be able to do algebraic equations but the usage was so low they removed this functionality.

Those idiots removed the ability to add text boxes with the latest update. I'm so pissed off about that. The only way to have a free floating box now is to write with the s-pen, then convert to text. This is so stupid.
