Nice, I personally would just get a 3rd 12x18.5 so you would have 1 nice long seam in both big rooms. By doing that you end up with 12x91 so about 48 more square feet of carpet (for future repairs) and eliminate all the fill pieces. I hate seaming carpet so I always try to avoid multiple fill pieces. Anyways just my 2 cents, great video very helpful.

Gold Coast Flooring thank you! And I hear ya, any thing to minimize the amount of seams is a win!

Thank you so much for this video. It really helped me out. I went to Lowes today to get my carpet and I just felt like a lost puppy. I was so embarrassed so I just left the store but this video really helped me out.

On this particular example, what would your profit margin be? How much would you be making on this job if you sold the job, bought from the manufacturer and installed yourself?

Mister Waji thanks for connecting! In this example your profit or sales commissions would be roughly $450

Went to Lowe's and i want the upstairs carpeted in my home. The house is 2800 sq ft but i'm just doing the upstairs only ( 3 bedrooms , hallway, stairs). It's all roughly 180 sq yards. The lowes carpet with pad i like is $5.75 sq ft. They told me the job will be $9000. Seems high
