Thank you! I recently drafted a knitted sweater pattern based on my measurements (I have a disproportionately large bicep), and ended up with a shallow (lower) and wide sleeve cap. Thought I made a mistake, as everything I read about sweater patterns said that the sleep cap should look like a bell curve, and mine was a very flattened curve rather than bell shaped. Your explanation that a shorter sleeve cap height creates a larger bicep made me feel confident that I arrived at the correct sleeve cap for my upper arm circumference. Very grateful for your video!!! 💖

Just discovered your site. Awesome information. I do have a question. on this video, the shirt you are wearing has lia fold line going to the front from under the arm. I see this on so many garments. Is there a way to fix that? Get rid of it? I would be so happy to learn how to do this. Thank you.
@PatternStudio1017 ай бұрын
The skirt I’m wearing is jersey fabric and the garment chest is 10” smaller than my body measurement. Because the fabric is stretchable I enjoy the tightness. If you want to get rid of that drag lines you can make the t shirt chest bigger than the body chest.

I always struggle with the sleeves because my biceps are too chubby ,and if I make the sleeve wider, the jacket looks too wide in the chest or the sleeve pulls to the sides😢
@PatternStudio1019 ай бұрын
Try across chest a little smaller so the body looks small be it will make armhole length longer. Then you can have wider bicep.

I have pant block making video and I made the block with body measurements. So you can use it for men.
Hmmm, if it's only dedicated for only young professionals then I shouldn't be watching your channel.

she made an assumption that most of her viewers are young professionals. although wrong, she's not actively trying to alienate those of us who are not young or professionals, she just made an innocent but incorrect assumption. please don't assume bad intention when it's a mistake that can be made by any of us. and assuming bad intention will be making the same mistake she made because she assumed in the first place just as you have. hope you have a great day and I mean none of this with hate in my heart, only care

@@nunyabusiness3582 she clearly says she is dedicated to teach young professionals and that doesn't seem right, sorry. Skills can be learned at any age as a profession or hobby.

I think she just meant that it's for younger people since it's on the Internet and older people don't know how to use computers and things. 👍👍

@@kumada84 Well, that's discrimination to conclude one's ability due to their age without knowing them!

Many books are also dedicated to a specific person or group, does that mean you shouldn't read them? If you're so easily triggered by something so mundane you might consider staying off the internet. 🙄😉
