Not sure this is true for kitchen shears, where they talk about blade length. Still not finding a good reference.

Cathie Entler thanks for reply.i had heard that if they are more than a certain length they call them shears. I am not sure I think it was 6". But I am not an expert and just anted to know. Thanks
