Gita 2.59: rasa-varjam raso 'pyasya param drstva nivartate: by getting a higher taste one will naturally leave behind sense objects. But this only comes through practice where we actually rise above the mind and begin to perceive from the atom. In the beginning establishing sattvika habits (as mentioned in the section on diet) is essential to cultivate a practice of japa and dhyana.

This was my question three months ago. But as this video comes to my recommendations today I thought I must leave a comment because right now i do 30-45 minutes of meditation without any problem. The answer is just practice practice and practice. At the start you have to force yourself to meditate longer and at more times during day Or night. Keep trying two to three months if you do this your mind will be eager to meditate frequently. My personal experience 🙏🙏🙏

You need to have will power to stop the addictions. Take a vow that every time you will not smoke ever. No matter how many tips are given, it will fail if there is no will power. Initially, you may take a substitute of something to consume ex: eat or drink anything which is healthy whenever you feel to take a smoke. You can also do Japa or Prayer to God to give strength. Once you continue to do this, you will get over the habit in the course of time.

Acts like stimulants. Makes you feel restless. The Rajas energy goes up, then all you want to do is do something using your body. Not helpful for sitting for long periods of time.

Without onions and garlic it is impossible to bring a good taste in food. I personally do not care taste though but in my home my parents and my sibling eat food with essence of taste. Now mother cannot prepare two different foods for different people . What should i do i am only 17
