I have the same pot an it does the same thing I haven't gotten the consistency I wanted added milk an it gotten soft but after setting in molds it didn't get hard as it should not sure why

Hello Salisha, I'd recommend using the double boiler method or melting with a microwave instead of this pot. With that you'd get your desired consistency without need for liquid especially when using a quality brand of chocolate. Cheers!

I bought my pot somewhere last year and trust me microwave is better for melting than this pot. It thickens the chocolate
