I finally found a place relatively convenient to go play poker on the regular along with healthy bank roll so now I'm gonna be able to play it more than, once a year lol. Thanks for the advice!

The video is good, but I do miss the very best tips in how to remember the scale from early to late position and they should have explained to point system which makes it way easier to remember all the ranges.

Great advice for new players - just focus on the bottom of each range, not the whole lot.

I stopped playing poker and said...If i cant sit my ass down and memorize every preflop situation then im not serious about poker and i need to stop fooling myself .Unless i master preflop ranges ,im not worthy of even bothering to play in a postflop situation...I memorized my BB defense vs UTG,HJ,CO,BT,SB as in what hands to 3bet or call in frequencies to of 25%50%75%100% my SB 3bet or fold vs each position in frequencies ,my IP 3bet/or fold vs positions in frequencies and my UOP 4bet/call3bet in frequencies ...I started thinking that learning opening FRI ranges are hard and now i see it as a joke. You have no idea how powerful your brain is ,10-30 mins a day of re viewing your memory ranges does wonders ...eventually you will be making moves without thinking ...Next stage is knowing your ranges so well that you will be able to put yourself in your opponents shoes and be able to visualize his most likely range.Once you can do that it will be much easier to understand how a flop or a turn card impacts his range .After that its time to dig into postflop strategies in solvers and probably will be easy to understand why a solver wants such actions vs your opponent ...

One comment about GTO, GTO is not a strategy to "win the most". GTO is a strategy to become unexploitable to your opponents and is a break even strategy. 2 heads up opponents playing perfect GTO strategy can expect 50% equity in the long term. Exploitative play when correctly applied to the usual human imperfect players who make up most low stakes player pools is always going to beat GTO. GTO is a tool for top level players to be even money with other very strong players while they wait to exploit fish.

Exploitative play can be correctly applied non-accidently only if you are good enough at GTO though

I wish I had watched this episode before I spent 2 weeks writing down my relevant hands for each position as I was dealt them xD But my ranges are burned in to my soul now.

The issue for me is this: in both of the books I'm reading about small stakes the recommended range when we're in the cut off and button is insane to me. There's just so many trash hands. Position is important obviously buy should I seriously be playing that loose in Co and btn?

I miss 2 million in poker together, i don't know if i should continue to play poker, but I really want to become a winner, a semi-pro-poker maybe, becasue I really love poker. i play 25/50/100 in pokerking most of the time ,I have a coach also in recent 3 months.he teach me some GTO and OVN courses and pndv, I mean ,the big data ananysis in poker ... but I lose more in recent sessions, i have played over 200,000 hands in over 2years ,I am lost in poker.I think I am a big fish if look at the result ,a totally loser. I do not know what I should to to.. improve my poker skill? or give up foever.

The o and s at the end of a hand are o = offsuit and s = suited. However, pocket pairs (like AA), will never be suited and as such don't get an o nor s qualifier. For more info about ranges, check out this guide: www.splitsuit.com/poker-ranges-reading

gto is "perfect" as a baseline assuming everyone else plays gto. The most money is made if you manage to play exploitative correctly. good job pointing this out!

actually RFI charts are simple . You don't have so much to learn . What is very hard is to memories sharts for tournaments, specially when you have 3 bet ranges . for exempke how to play SB vs BTN ? For 100 bb, 60bb , 30bb ? It's very different . 40bb you need to have all in range , then you have the small 3 bet, the calls and the fold . 4 different action to memorize. The u want to know SB vs CO , SB vs HJ etc. And all these ranges are quite different than BB vs IP, you need to learn also that for different stacks . Then BTN vs oop etc. SB vs BB. And then you need to feed pio with these ranges and do simulations on any kind of flops . Know how to play all kind of flops in all the scenarios you can imagine. And you still need to play your 30 mtt a day . If you do this every day for years maybe you have a chance to make money with poker. That's what I try do do . Good luck

? maybe you want to make some exploitable adjustments, but not unless you really know what you’re doing
