May have missed a clip at the end sir!! But great video I’ve watched the whole series and always wondered the differences of the two welding methods

Very informative video and particularly good timing for myself as I'll be attempting to learn how to weld on my R32 sedan soon. I would be interested to see your take on a plug welding video too as that's specifically what I will be doing.

I have slightly off topic noob questions that perhaps you could show in a future video: Now say for example where a Lancer wants to go AWD and you drill out your FWD floor and the AWD floor from the donor car, there would pretty much be holes in both areas you're wanting to weld in place. How would the "spot welds" be able to be done if they are holes in the two joining pieces instead of one having a solid base? And how could it be done that it wouldn't be a compromise to rigidity/ oxidation long term where that oxidation could be a fail point? And lastly, Could that be done with Tig? I know people mainly use Mig and maybe some with stick.

Awesome job! The holes when welding usually happens in the gaps, so if there is a smaller gap it's less prone to open a hole, also on the MIG it seems like you have to get the tungsten too close to the piece when welding, that might be because the angle of the tungsten is too short, if it's more steep you don't need to be that close, just in case you don't know, sometimes it's the small detail that make the whole difference, I am no expert but I learn from what others have to say, great content btw!

Just bought my first welder, I know you're using a primeweld TiG I just bought their 180 MiG machine. Are you using 110 or 220 to MiG with?

Do you have any tips for keeping fine point sharpies working? I tend to buy a ton of them because they never seem to last beyond a few jobs. Tip still looks saturated in ink, but nothing comes out.

Yeah you just gotta try to clean up any oils off the surface. They can be a pain without a doubt. I usually only use them to write on tape.
