Can you tell me if the SMS still applies? There is no dashboard in AWS for the connector anymore that you went to, there is now the AWS Migration Hub which does not show the SMS and the page you went to is no longer available in Services.

Excellent Video! Is SMS migrating all files installed on the on-premise local disk only? For oracle server, if the database files are on Network storage, do you have to copy those to S3 and then EBS so the VM can write to them?

The devbox is the name of the host (where the hyper-v manager is installed) You can see it at 5:32 minute

For single server replication, At 11:33 , he is launching it into the default VPC. Also at 15:51, for Application mode (multiple servers), he is specifying the VPC. It is assumed that we know the basics of EC2 and VPC.

I set the connector on to the VMware Vcenter and got the IP Address. I am able to complete the setup by entering the IP address in the url and the connection is established. when I go to the SMS Connector I can see "0 running connector" may I know how to resolve the issue.

Can you suggest if windows server vm is installed in on premises inside VMware with MySQL standard 2016 then how we can migrate without any issue in AWS here in AWS we have another instances running in same vpc

The username ( ec2-user ) and password (ec2pass) are incorrect can't customize the IP address to network

Once the applications are launched in AWS, and users connect and are now working in AWS, do those changes then get replicated back to the onsite servers?

I have specialization in cloud computing and I am really inclined towards AWS. Why there are no opportunities for New Graduates in AWS India (off campus) ?

Well don't expect high packages if you are from tier 2-3 college. Start as a fresher and then 2-3 years down the line you can command a lot for your skills. Getting cloud certificates do help but having knowledge of potential issues is what makes experience much more important.
