Thanks so much for watching! 😊 We all know that childbirth is not like a day at a wellness SPA. However, we hope that with this video, we can at least reduce some of your fears and worries in two ways: By explaining where your fears and worries might come from and by showing you strategies that you could try to minimize the risk of a particular fear to come true. We really hope you find it helpful!

I watched so many of these videos before my unmedicated birth last May! Even though last minute (about a week or so before) I found out I was going to need an induction... I was still able to attain a birth free of pain medications. Active labour lasted 6hrs, pushing 30 mins, and I would say the intense pain only lasted for the last 1.5hrs. I tried to stay upright the entire time and used breathing, acupressure, meditation/oxytocin focus music throughout. I realized it is very important to stay happy and calm in order to help my body produce oxytocin to help with natural pain relief. Of course the last part was so intense and hard to focus but you just need to take it one contraction at a time and not think about how long it could go on for lol

Hi there 😊, thank you SO MUCH for sharing this with us!! 😘😘 It is really very much appreciated, because it helps moms-to-be who read this as they see how other women have experienced their birth! We cannot agree more: staying happy and calm is the most important thing to do during labor! And if possible, avoid medical interventions of any kind (including an epidural) because in many many cases, one intervention will lead to another one etc... So, thanks again for sharing your very positive birth story with us!! We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your sweet baby!! ❤️❤️

Hi there 😊, thanks SO MUCH for your lovely feedback!! 😘 It is very much appreciated and we are very happy to hear that you find our videos helpful!! 😊 We can absolutely understand that you are tired. Most women feel that way when they are 39 weeks pregnant. The good news though is that you are now VERY close to deliver your baby!! 🥰 So, soon you will have your body back! 😊 Also, if you have at least some contractions already (even when they are only irregular), that's great! Because it shows you that your body is preparing for labor 😊 Regarding your legs: first of all, we recommend talking with your doctor about your swollen legs. While it is totally normal for a pregnant woman to have swollen feet due to water retention, in rare cases, it could also point to complications such as pre-eclampsia. Therefore, we always recommend talking with a doctor in order to be able to exclude medical reasons for the problem. If your doctor tells you that everything is alright, then there are three ways to help with the problem: - Drink plenty of water: against all logic, water can help your body get rid of excess water. - Try to rest your feet up as much as you can - Regular walking can help too, as well as other exercises, particularly foot exercises (for example: bend and stretch your foot up and down 20-30 times) These things may help ease the pain, however, it's a difficult problem. It will only get much better, once your baby is born... We still hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! Lots of love from London back to Zambia!! ❤️

This is great. Thank you. But can a pregnant woman with fibroid now have a VBAC even after going through mycometomy 5years.
@CareAboutLittleOnes
@CareAboutLittleOnes 2 жыл бұрын
Hi there 😊, you are MOST WELCOME - we are happy to hear that you like our video! 😊 Regarding your question: In THEORY, it is possible that a woman who had her fibroids removed can have a VBAC. However, it depends on several factors, most importantly, the thickness of the scar. If the scar is too thin, then the risk of uterine rupture is too high. And of course, it also depends on factors which are related to your previous C-section (we talk about this in more detail in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y6PIYpKBeMx-jas). Therefore, the only thing you can do is discuss with your provider if you can try having a VBAC, given the condition of your uterus at this point... Most importantly, they have to assess your scar... We hope this helps!! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

@CareAboutLittleOnes
@CareAboutLittleOnes 2 жыл бұрын
Hi there Ivy 😊, while it may be frustrating for you to "only just" feel false labor contractions, please note that this they are actually a good thing! That's because during the days before you go into labor, the amount of false labor contractions increases. And they are not useless. They fulfill many important functions. They help your uterus to practice for the real thing. They also help you bring your cervix forward. And they can also help with effacement of the cervix. So, please don't be frustrated! Be happy about them and see them as something that brings a step closer to finally meeting your baby, whenever you feel them! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

@CareAboutLittleOnes
@CareAboutLittleOnes 2 жыл бұрын
Hi there Rekha 😊, okay, we understand your fear. We had several cases of women with pregnancy hemorrhoids. Almost all of them had the same fears as you do. However, we can assure you that during their delivery, this was the last thing they had in mind! EVERY ONE of them told us (after their delivery) that they did not even think for one second about their hemorrhoids. In that phase of your delivery, everybody involved just has one goal: supporting you push that baby out... No one cares about what else is coming out down there! So, please don't be worried too much about it! When you prepare for labor (and also during labor), you only focus on that very moment, when you hold your baby in your arms for the very first time. You are healthy and well, and so is your baby. How you got there and what happened along the way, really does not matter as long as both of you are well! We hope this helps! 😊 We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

I know you messaged this 7 mobths ago, so likely had your baby, but this is for other mamas from a mama. My last baby I had 4 thrombosed hemmoroids acorn+ size in pregnancy- I even went to the ER for treatment for them because they were so severe (to which I was told the only treatment was "have a baby"). I was terrified. I can honestly testify in labor I didn't feel them at all, and right after birth they went away very quickly. Don't worry mama's: you will have so much going on in labor hemmoroids will not be an issue.

@@mrsalimurtaza8850 Hi there again! Thank you very much for your explanation! First of all, we do have to apologize! Somehow, we completely misunderstood your comment. We did not realize at all that you were 40 weeks pregnant when you lost your baby! 😔 Of course, it is ALWAYS terrible to lose a baby. But at such an advanced stage, it is even more terrible! We are very sorry about your loss!! 😔😔 Regarding you question: As we said, it is really very difficult for us to help you. Normally, we would address cases like yours together with the treating physician because the circumstances which have led to the loss can be very important to help you get pregnant again. However, since you cannot rely on any help (which makes us super sad, by the way), we try another way to help you: So, generally speaking, a period can return 5 to 6 weeks after a still birth but it can also take longer than that. If the spotting that you observed was indeed your period, then you most likely ovulated and were fertile two weeks before the spotting. If it is an option, then you could ask for an ovarian scan at the hospital to determine if you have ovulated. Alternatively, you could wait for the next bleeding/spotting and use ovulation sticks to check yourself (you should be able to get them at the pharmacy). You have to read the instructions, as some tests work differently than others. But normally, you have to urinate on the test strips every morning until you get a positive result. And you would start with those tests a couple of days AFTER your bleeding or spotting has stopped (the test instructions will tell you how long to wait after the bleeding stopped). The test strips detect luteinizing hormones which are released right before ovulation. If it is detected, then you are about to ovulate. This is most likely the easiest way to find out if you are ovulating. Knowing IF you are ovulating is the first step. The second step is to know WHEN you are ovulating. If you are not ovulating, then we would need to look into ways how to make this work again. So, if you could do this as a start, it would already help you a lot in getting pregnant again! Please report back, when you know the results! If you have any questions, please let us know!! GOOD LUCK!!!! ❤️❤️

@@mrsalimurtaza8850 Hi there! It makes us really sad that in 2021, women lose babies because of negligence of people!! This should really not happen in our modern times.... Regarding your question: it COULD be related to the stillbirth. But in order for this to know, we would have to look into your case together with the treating physicians to see what exactly caused it and if there could be any potential long-term problems. That said, in general, the fact that you have not yet had a period may not necessarily have to do with the stillbirth. These two things could be totally unrelated. Also, maybe, you DO have a period, just not the way you used to have. It could take time for your body to go back where it was... It's so difficult to say. However, if you do the tests and see that you are ovulating, that's all you need to know! We really hope this helps! ❤️

@@frndusbambulius1709 That's true! There is never a guarantee that you won't tear. However, the majority of women we know who properly prepared their perineum either had no tears or first degree tears. And first degree tears are really extremely harmless. They don't even require stitches because in that case, it's only the skin that "tears". Such tears really don't cause you any troubles at all! So, please don't be worried too much about tearing!
