@@exhaust4246 thanks for the support! 😊 I’ve made quite a few tutorials like this one here on the channel. So far I’ve covered the Shure SM7B, Lewitt 240 Pro, Lewitt 440 Pure, Rode NT1 and now the Neumann TLM102.
@exhaust42462 ай бұрын
@@homestudioacademy I saw most of them and really enjoyed em, you should try sm58 next if the mic is available to you ;) cause that's the mic I own currently lol And maybe even explore "how to mix warm vocals like radiohead" or "how to mix shoegaze vocals" category

@@exhaust4246 glad you liked them. 😊 I currently don’t own the sm58 so maybe in the future!

how would these setting look/translate on something like the GOXLR?
@homestudioacademy2 ай бұрын
@@PokeMills the concept is the same regardless of the mic you use when it comes to deessing, subtractive EQ and compression. However, in this video, I emphasized additive EQ and Noise Reduction plugins based on this mic’s sensitivity and its frequency response.

I've a bright vocals so b/w Tlm 103 or Tlm 102 which will suit on my vocals? I rap n sings
@homestudioacademy2 ай бұрын
@@priyanshuprakash290 from comparison videos I’ve watched, the TLM 103 is a much brighter mic than the TLM 102. So if you have a very bright / sibilant voice, then in my opinion, the TLM 102 may compliment your voice better.
