Great video... Small suggestion though... Don't use the crossfader for mixing... Keep it in center or thru mode and use the line faders... You have much better control. Crossfader should primarily be used for scratching and quick dropping out...
@markdude28582 жыл бұрын
I'll have the volume low and the low down if was gonna use crossfader and then vol up

Hi Levi. Awesome!, great to hear. There's a few tutorials on the channel already. Are there any specific tips or advice that you'd like to learn from related to your DDJ-400 or DJing in general? Check out the Free eBook I've recently put on my website, there's a beginners DJ checklist to follow to help you along your DJing journey if you're just starting out. Thanks, Dan (Beatmatch Guru)

@@BeatmatchGuru so when mixing and needing to move up the bpms so the transition to the next song can be better. It doesn’t let me move the bpms up or down unless I increase it or decrease it to its max or lowest point. Don’t know if that makes sense 😂

@@Levi55921 Is the SYNC KEY pressed on? I've noticed that sometimes plays around with the tempo. OR try clicking on the symbol 'MT' so that it's grey instead of red. This stands for Master Tempo. Hope that helps :)

@john-t_smith77813 жыл бұрын
Why the use of the cross fader and not the volume faders? Is just your preference or a drum n bass wide transition? .
@BeatmatchGuru3 жыл бұрын
Hey John-T_Smith, Yeah it's more of a preference really. I use the channel faders in other genres such as Garage for cutting between tracks. To be honest it's probably just a habitual thing. The choice is yours really.
