If your whethers are doing good on what you're giving them, you should be good or you can try something new for them - you know your whethers better than anyone :D

Feed costs vary. When this video was made, feed was a lot cheaper than it is now but still works out at a lower cost than pre mixed feed. This lasts us about 3-4 months with all our goats

Can you feed them a round bails of hay?

Yes, we have round bails of hey for them to eat on as much as they want & then we feed them our feed mix twice a day

I use almost the same mix, I use rolled barley instead of alfalfa, and beat pul w/ molasses instead of oats

How much do you feed in winter and how many goats do you have? Sorry if you've answered this in other videos I just found you today :)

We feed our does 1/2 lb in winter as it helps regulate their body temperature & prepares them for breeding season & our bucks get 1/4lb of feed. We have 20 goats in total. Thanks for coming on over & welcome
