For anyone more interested in the basics of saturation on a fundamental level, the physics of waves and energy provides a great explanation. That’s where I found a much more solid knowledge of even and odd harmonics. Thank you for the great lesson again Steve!

This is the best channel for audio tips I've found, and I've watched/listened to many, including Dan Worrall. I appreciate your concise and elucidating explanations. Your videos provoke immediate inspiration which is applicable here and now. Thanks a million for all the effort you put into this channel! I understand now why some engineers recommend trying a saturator first before EQing. It didn't make much sense to me until I finished this video. Your reverb trick made me consider how saturation can suggest EQ boosts without having to boost an entire range. This should make for a cleaner mix overall. Next time I'm mixing I'm going to try doing as few cleanup cuts as possible first, then use strategic saturation for harmonic boosts to see if that helps set the foundation for a more solid mixing session. On the contrary, this video also helped me realize that sometimes a creative effect, or a vision for a sound design for a specific instrument or vocal effect, can be the pivotal point upon which all other mixing factors should be considered. For example, if you want to use a swelling harmonic reverb with a morphing saturated delay on a vocal part, perhaps you don't want the synth and guitars to interfere. It would be best to scale those back or duck them because the effect is more... effective.

I think there's a plugin for that experimental IR reverb idea, adaptiverb, it allows you to quantize the reverb and a whole other stuff to keep the reverb very very tonal and clean it really is the most fantastic sound

Do you think the Multiple convolution harmonic trick is possible with kilohearts convolvers stacked up?

I get the theory here, but it would help if you gave some practical applications. For example am I boosting the EQ of a certain frequency for a certain instrument ?

Oversampling! Oversampling works better than a higher sampling rate as well, since it introduces a low pass filter (at a high frequency to avoid cutting into audible signal). SageAudio.com
