I've been growing indoors for over three years now, and because of where I live, dirt brought too many bugs into the house. Although reusable, coco coil has unused nukes that can cause lockout if you don't buffer it every time it's reused, so a few months ago, I started two buckets like ours, but now I'm up to eight buckets because I wanted a recirculating system. I'm new to this, and I'm not trying to bust your balls, but I think the cal-mag should have been used first, and if you are using any root fungi, it should be used first.

If it uses water as the main medium for the solution, than yes. All hydroponics solutions can be made this way.
