KB Maximorum is the best KB program I've ever done, hands down.

@NikkiNexo777 it covered all the bases for me. Hypertrophy, fat loss, strength gains, and conditioning. It helped my athleticism on the mats in muay thai and jiu-jitsu, and helped with my fight cardio, as well as made me more lean and stronger. It really did check all the boxes.

@@fullmerfitmindandbody thanks for the quick reply. I'm in the 6th week of Easy Muscle, which is 8 weeks long. I've been eyeballing Kettlebell Maximorum. It will be the next program I go through.

@NikkiNexo777 I will say I did add pull-ups into the clean and press/front squat days. I just followed whatever the rep scheme was that day. If I don't do a lot of pulling movements with my pressing, my shoulders get cranky. The one thing I feel that is missing from his programming are lots of rows and pull-ups.

4th week of my second run at maximorum, I am loosing baddie fat 😮 gaining weight and have striations appearing in delts, upper pec, quads. I'm impressed at nearly 65 to be gaining let alone maintaining. Overall I love it.

It does seem like an amazing program. I really like that he combines C&P with the snatch. I still haven’t started double kettlebell work yet, now getting towards the end of ROP with a 20K. Since Maximorum is programmed 4 days a week, is it possible to do Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday for instance?

@@pierre7002 that's what I do occasionally Fridays workout is pushed back to Saturday, if you down load the programme Geoff explains that point

@@pierre7002I own the program, and that is exactly the way it is formatted. Each week is scheduled like this: 2 (easy) days in a row, 1 day rest, 2 (hard) days in a row, 2 days rest. In your case it looks like it will be exercise Monday + Tuesday, rest Wednesday, exercise Thursday + Friday, rest Saturday and Sunday.

@@davidchung3923 Thanks! I’m getting a lot of inspiration from Geoff lately but want to finish ROP before continuing with another program. Perhaps I’ll buy his Giant programs first to be able to work a bit more with a single bell.

Also in week 4 of maximorum. I’ve been PR my volume every week, but at week 4 with 5 reps of 5 rep max I’m taking your advice on performing quality reps without trying to beat last weeks overall reps. Tomorrow is the 3-4-5 cl+p/FS and I’m feeling terrified

@powskier - Most people use the "Strength & Conditioning" ones - the ones with the thick handles. But any will do.

Geoff, makes sense. Mixing programs - squirrel, what squirrel ? We are all guilty (or at least my friend is 😉). But seriously, P3 and walking matches with all your programs, but what about hiking/rucking or swimming/kayaking/surfing ? Also if you were going to do an extended P3 session on your “off days” - how would you do this ? Do all 3 phases ?

@justinschooth5854 - You can hike, ruck, kayak, swim and surf. P3 is designed to help you do it all. Extended P3 sessions on off days: Focus on the phase I was in, and hit all the prescribed reps in the positions and levels I needed the most help in. Hope that helps.

I am currently "mixing" ten minutes of kettlebell giant, with three sets of the "wolf light day", 3 days/week and then 75 lb BW band resisted pushups (5 sets of 20) weighted dips, and barbell curls low volume (three sets of each) 2 days/week. Max workout time is approximately 20 mins/day or 100 mins/week. So I'm not only mixing KB programs but also body weight into the KB workouts... Imagine that, right?? I've adjusted the volume to be lower so that I don't feel exhausted, and cut down to three or four days in stressful weeks. 2 KB days, two body weight days, 3 off days. Thoughts?
