Goal: strong enough by New Years. Did Maximorum with a 28kg c+p DFSQ, 24kg snatch… giant X with 28kg, starting Maximorum 32kg next week. LOVE these programs, G!

After 9 months of Geoff's programs, my arms are markedly bigger, both triceps and biceps, with no targeted arm work. Same with my legs and shoulders. Also, for the first time in my life I have a bicep vein. They may not give you bodybuilder arms, but for 20 and 30 minute workouts, Geoff's kettlebell programs will have an impact on your guns if you push the weight and pace (volume).

I don't know man, when I am not doing pull ups, chinups, and various loaded carries my arms get smaller and I do a LOT of kettlebell work.

I didn’t get much arm growth for yeeeears using KBs (the giant, ABC, king sized killer, MKM complexes), but my arms started growing as soon as I stepped back into the gym, hit the barbell and added in some weighted pullups and curls to my program 😢 Kettlebells will always have a special place in my heart but sadly they just don’t trigger muscle growth like barbells or isolation exercises

Same, many kinds of double complexes (Clean’em Up), had delts but no arm growth until I added “21s” as assisted close-grip chins and tricep extensions.

Good info! Many thanks. It's looking like I still need gym membership. Kettle bells are a dollar pound and I need to start light. I would have too much money in Kettle bells. I am convinced that they are the best exercises for me.

Love and own a bunch of your programs, but we all know that you can't loose localized fat (ie belly fat) - you loose fat. And in order to do that you have to be in a caloric deficit. You even mention this in some of your programs.

With all due respect, The Long Haul from MKM is by FAR the hardest kettlebell (or any implement at all!) workout I’ve EVER done. Just finished it with two 16 kgs and nothing has shredded fat off me like it.

Geoff, just finished week 8 of Giant X. 22 weeks of training from my 5rm 28kg bells with Maximorum and into giant X. Going for that 32kg “strong enough” by end of year. You’re brilliant with these programs!

At this point I have a weird take on minimalist training. I know swings and get ups are the go to but I think the c&p and front squat are the best two that can be done. Geoff one thing I do think you should have mentioned here is this is taking into account the weight is the same. If someone can swing a 24 but only snatch a 16 would what you said here still apply?

That is the question I have pondered on for years. I'm in the same place. 100 24kg swings. Or try to do 100 16kg. Or 50 snatches with a 20kg. Give up. Don't know. Needs answered

When you match set for set does that mean, by the rep and the TOTM. Ex. 6 swings TOTM then next work out 6 chins TOTM.

Mannn... When I was in highschool and first started lifting the Rocky 4 soundtrack 🔥🔥 And to this day the best of Rocky XD is in my car... But I cannot, I will not, listen to them during KB training because it's not just training but it's practicing a skill and that adrenaline is very distracting and the skill and even breathing, which is a skill, gets sacrificed. But still love me some Rocky!!!

I feel like society has done this with both female and male. They want us to be sick and weak. We both need to be strong mentally and physically. I am not one of those people who can tell myself all these admirations that make me feel better about myself. The only way I feel better about myself is working out and eating clean! Then I feel better about myself.

I’ve been doing kettlebells on and off for ten years. Your program has been a game changer for me. I love the app! I’ve lost 17lbs, and my strength and endurance has greatly improved. I do 20lbs bells doubles, and 28lbs singles. I love the challenge it’s given me. This was all achieved in doing your program for one month. Can’t wait to see my progress for this month. I always did mainly single kettlebells but doing doubles really changes it all! It works, and I was skeptic about the program. I do carbs and protein. All my wired aches and pains have gone away.

Wait! You mean to tell me that I can’t lose 40lbs of fat in one month , Gain 10lbs of muscle, eating only Bacon , cottage cheese and Brussels sprouts, and look like a young Arnold ? Damn, those IG fitness “ gurus” lied to me! 🤣🤣 Honestly though, nothing is more true about doing in moderation than general fitness. The gonzo approach never succeeds

I was skeptical about his program and I lost 17 pounds in one month only working out two days a week. Carbs and protein diet. Kettlebell in my opinion are the best full body workout, and strengthen endurance training you can do. Also there is so much data to back up kettlebells.

That is weird that people that the Jerk doesn't build the shoulders well. I have found the heavy Clean and Jerk to be almost too good at making me need new shirts because they are too tight in the upper back and shoulders. I would definitely add Loaded Carries in this list though.
