Thx for this tuto. You say that the bass and the kick are in the same key, is that not what is needed ? in Pro MB you adjust the threshold to go 0, but what should be at 0 ? tia

Some artists don’t care that it is. Detlef said he doesn’t care because the kicks in tech house don’t hold a lot of melodic information. Just use what sounds good. No clear answer in music, it’s all subjective to the listener
