When you put time into producing and you know you have something good, but there's always that last 10% that you always wonder....why the F can't I get this over the finish line. This video literally solved that for me, and I can't tell you how thankful I am for you sharing this. I've been listening to your tracks since 2019 and holy shit...who would've thought all it took was a 30 min video to get me over that line. Cheers my guy, you're a G for taking time to share this.

Hey man, been a huge fan of your music and just getting into music production right now…I’m 5 min in and the depth you go into is more than beyond helpful but you also explain is super simple. I havnt checked out more of your page, this is first video but I hope you can make more videos with this much detail in track breakdowns

Like your video especially the part at 12:45 where you duplicate the BASS to find the perfect one. I thought I was the only one working this way. You know what your doing!!

Awesome video sir, I know I’m late but may I ask the logic behind having like 8 consecutive eq’s on the kick? I know you’re shaping the sound after the sound was shaped in the previous eq but why did it take each one to get to your final product? Thanks again. I watched the entire thing and you essentially answered it lol

Nice fat and groovy bassline! I'm not really a fan of house music in general but think this groove would work really well in a slower prog psytrance-ish track as well. Look forward to go through your videos, you have a good balance of laid back and focused. Cheers

When I use the LFO tool with trigger, I understand what you're saying but with this setup if I don't play the SC trigger than I get no audio from the sidechained channel (bass channel) since the volume at the end of the bass side chain rounded down to 0 to remove click. How do you still have the sidechained channel play with this setting if the trigger isn't playing? Also thanks for your videos, you're awesome
@MrWhite2277 Жыл бұрын
there's another plugin called trackspacer which will do that sidechaining that you used soothe for. Doesn't have all the other features of soothe but it's a lot cheaper

I use FL not ableton, but can’t you sidechain the kick to kickstart and then use audio triggering instead of the midi triggers? Maybe that’s not available in LFO tool tho
@HawksNestYTАй бұрын
Which is also super sick because then you can see the kick playing to create your LFO perfectly around the kick wave form playing in kick start + band isolation to just duck your kick frequency. Although I’m sure shaperbox is probably the best for all of this with even more customization

Take the minor scale. Take the second note of that scale and move it down one semitone.
