you're probably the best, most in-depth youtube tutorial guy out there. I feel like a lot of these guys show us stuff that gets a track maybe 90% professional quality, but its the little things that get you that extra 10% and you seem to be doing those steps so I wanna say a huge THANK YOU :)

It is not raw vocal she sent to him, it is edited (he said it in the video), you can hear a little eq and compressor already in there

This is one of THE BEST tutorials I've seen. The stereo imager/widener on the send track = mind blown!! Also sending the delay to the reverb so that it's got a bit of a tail, that was smart and never thought about doing that before. I already was EQ'ing my verb & delay but I've noticed a lot of people don't do that so that's a great tip as well. I don't have nearly the same quality of plugins, I'm mostly using Ableton stock, but it came out sounding amazing. Thank you :)

GOTTA love when artists send you clean vocals i swear thats such a big thing people dont pay attention too. i hate having to do a bunch of eqing on a vocal cuz the artist recorded in what sounds like a bathroom off their iphone 🤦🏾‍♂️

great video!!! i think next (or in the near future) you should do a vocal mixing tutorial on vocals that weren't professionally tracked. i think it would help a lot more people, being that not all of us have access to or have the funds to go to a professional studio or even buy acoustic treatment for our rooms, etc. edit: when i say professionally tracked i mean like bare minimum bedroom recordings lol

Dang. So is not having all these extra delay throws and echo tracks the reason my vocals sound thin? I typically just do one lead straight up the middle, compression and reverb. This is why I hire a mixer when the production is done.
