This is great, I'm fairly confident in my ability to get certain results in a mix but I'm really slow and don't have a defined process. Going to try following this order on my next mix and see how it goes! May make adjustments after if needed for my own workflow, but it's nice to at least have a template for what to focus on and when.

I love how on your level, you use Logics plugins.. That's authentic bro.. Do you mix in Protools if you have something to go pro or you're strictly Logic? I had to ask cause this is incredible.. I know I am a hobbist but dang.. Could you imagine if this channel was available back when we were using Commodore 64's.. With all the midi cords.. lol..

How about gain staging ? Where does this come in when mixing?

Gain staging is always first. I first balance my mix with the beat and vocals. Then I start mixing, but I like to keep the vocals around -18 to -15, this way I have room for mastering. That's just what i do, because everyone is different.

gain staging happens during tracking (recording) vocals

How loud do you like to run your tracks when mixing? I normally control the output of each plugin to about -6db

hello, (after correcting the frequency response with SIENNA, i.e. linearity / harman curve) what is the ideal dB value in addition to the bass? That is, after which you would increasingly lose quality by upsetting the headphones. I am referring to the right value to add on the bass to a headphone so as not to upset it, not to damage the drivers for example. and do not lose quality. Then are there headphones more suitable to undergo additions on the bass? based on transducers (dynamic or magneto-planar or drivers

So you say (how to mix from start to finish but include no automation. You are doing a disservice by not mentioning automation and fader level changes. That is how/what separates a amateur and a pro mix. You need to include that.
