Sage.. Real talk.. Watching your channel for quite some time - you have the heart, the mind and the awareness to create pleasantly understandable content that elaborates and compliments peoples perspectives while improving further decision making for the better.. Only positives from the service you are doing! ♥ Keep helping the people realize they can do this and never stop being experimentally creative for the viewer! Mixing can be a road that lives in insecurity yet you leave me only inspired for the good.🙂 Thank you a lot! 👻

I just added the instrument mid & side parallel processing on one of my mixes and it really brought the mix to the next level. The track now has this glue-ed density in the mids that I was looking for! Thank you so much! Ah btw I also sent all other FX sends (delays and reverbs) to that side bus.

All your faders are at unity , but everything sound like it's balances , how do you do the leveling process ?! Thanks.

Thanks for watching YungC! I had to export my midi tracks since they were taking up too much processing. So I got a rough level before exporting each one. SageAudio.com

Hi Sage Audio!!!! Thanks for sharing your knowladge. I have a question about the levels in your mix. I see drum bus already was -0.6db and master bus was also -0db and the quastion is waht about headroom? You also asking to send tracks for masstering with headroom. How to achiev this headroom? During the mixing to keep levels that on the master bus level would be -6db/-3db? or just in the end lower the master bus fader to left headroom around -6db?

Thanks for watching! Sorry - it's been a while since I made this video, but I think I was trying to show how to create a complete production (demo master included). Most trap sessions I've worked on as an engineer include tracking, some arrangement, quick mixing, and mastering. I found the clients wanted results ASAP, so a lot of production got expedited and done during the original tracking session. So, I'd still recommend leaving 3-6dB of headroom if you intend to send a song to a mastering engineer - but if the client wants a finished product, then this chain should help

I noticed that at the end when you mastered the track, you reached -8.8 lufs and true peak was at positive .1 dbs, my question is, what happens when a track this loud with this true peak goes into Spotify? Do you not worry about the format conversion?
@Diego-nz7jd2 жыл бұрын
@@xeno.s248 What about true peak?
@paavoilves54162 жыл бұрын
@@xeno.s248 Tbh the -14LUFS is a MINIMUM to hit. If the master sounds better when driven harder then go for it. But if it sounds better with more dynamics, at least try to hit the -14LUFS mark.
@paavoilves54162 жыл бұрын
@@Diego-nz7jd Most decent limiters can limit true peak so that it doesn't clip. Spotify and other services recommend peaking at -2dBFS.
