We need a video explaining the difference between db and loudness

L. J. Howell loudness is measured by/in db

Asking about the difference between loudness and db is like asking about the difference between speed and miles per hour

db is the unit for loud basically as in meters are a measurement for distance. meters = db and loudness = distance

Not really, everybody mixes differently.

@@Luke-ji6dm Wow, that's cool. But, producers shouldn't copy his style of mixing. Producers should think of their own style of mixing.

I have a major request! Please somebody help: I have 4 Vocal Takes (Lead, 2nd, Ad-Lib 1, Ad-Lib 2) and I want to process them all equally, so I was taught, to route all of them (I have each of them on different channels) through one seperate channel (a bus or whatever). The thing now, from there on I want to process each take equally. How do I proceed? Any suggestions? Can I split the signals in the bus again somehow? Thanks!
@OVBLANA6 жыл бұрын
Send them on separate channels, do your individual effects and then send them all to one channel and do your general effects. You can't do it the other way around, once you add all signals together in one channel you can't split it back.
