My psvita shuts down when I click yes on the trophies. Anyone else getting this problem? Edit: I don’t have henkaku settings but I have h-encore for some reason. Edit 2: I found the solution. Just press the blue reset button on the top three times and if it is still black, try tapping the rear screen or the front screen.

So I wanted to say thank you very. This is a very detailed tutorial. If you follow every detail you will be fine. At first, I couldn't get my PC to recognize my USB connection but I didn't have a PS Vita memory card in and you have to have at least a small PS Vita Memory card before you can use the SD card adapter (at least in the OLED model). I had the same problem until I watched a different youtuber on hacking the device. You gotta hold on to the Right shoulder button before you start up H-Encore. Hope that helps.

Hi everyone, sorry for this late response, as I just got my Vita two days ago. If anyone is having troubles connecting their Vita to their Desktop/Laptop. First download/install all the documents that you get after launching QCMA. After that make sure you have content manager on your Vita and desktop/laptop. Yes you will also need a memory too and make sure your network connection is working properly. All these steps and then they'll connect your Vita to your desktop/laptop. I figured this out all on my laptop and it worked.

I can only assume it's because the hack is on that memory card? I think but not totally sure that the new models with the 1GB storage gets ignored when you slap in a memory card. So in sense the Vita can only boot from one source. Either internal or memory card. From my basic understanding this hack doesnt stay on your system. As soon as you reboot the hack is gone and you have to reapply the hack again to use it. So you may have to run the exploit again by copying it over to a new memory card?

Everything went good. Just a few things Do not run qcma. Because it wont recognize the vita. u can try by youself and check.. The solution it is to open the final he and click on trim. Just plug in the vita to the pc without touching qcma and it will be good to go. Good luck guys

I had simply been curious about what modding a PSVita would give you, but figured since you said "This requires a PC, not a Mac" you actually meant "MSWindows" (just remember, "PC" does not automatically equal "MSWin"). Looking at the mod site, the have Linux utilities as well. So actually usable on my systems. As an alternative to WinRar, you could also use 7zip, which can extract those RAR files, and is free and open-source. Maybe if my nephew still has his PSVita I can mod it for him.
