This upgrade is clean. Also can replace one of Ahsoka's green lightsaber pieces with an older trans neon green blade to get that lime lightsaber color.

For the front of the cockpit i raised the two 1x1 bricks by 1 stud and now it sits more flush with the window.

This was a really cool video! I loved your editing style and the effort you put behind it with the stop motion and how clear you were with the modifications! If you could do one thing, i would love if you did a side by side of changes (even if it was for a second). You don't need to have both there, you can just have old a shot of old version next to a shot of the new version in a split screen, it would help show your point really well. I was surprised I hadn't seen you before, but I am definitely going to check you out more!

Put one by one studs behind the seat on the grey semi stud tile and you’ll be able to click the canopy down instead of it swinging open on its own

There is way more to do with upgrading this set. I also added more tiles on the wings and modified bottom look not only by removing spring load shooters

I dunno about the interior. I‘d leave it like it is. With all the added interior there is no visibility left through the front windshield.

You could always try some of the other blaster/hand gun pieces Lego makes as direct replacements. Otherwise, the hose nozzle piece could work as well 👍
