i go max streamline and 2 fleeting for 160 or 5 fleeting and 4 streamline for 175. some frame though If I have a max primed flow I don't need fleeting cuz there energy is over 600

You don't always Forma for the highest cost. You Forma for the polarity you're going to use the most. Even if it costs you an extra Forma it's worth it in the long run, esp when you have frames capable of 3-5 builds. Good luck though, there are Founders who still don't forma or mod correctly. I'm reminded of Primed Cryo Round where a buncha people had ---x2 on their weapons saying they can't fit it. When there's no reason to use two ---- unless you're running Vile Acceleration.

lordeggo Naramon x2 is usually for either stormbringer + hellfire (radiation) or stormbringer and the toxin mod (forgot the name)

Madway You don't want to do that though. You're better off spending an extra Vx2 on the weapon because they make up 75% of your mod selection. If you use ---x2 you cut yourself off from Primed Cryo, Primed Bane or something else unless the weapon uses Vile Accel, Primed Fast Hands or similar. Secondary weapons don't have this problem "yet" but Primary crit weapons have to use Vx6 ---x1 and Dx1 in order to fit all mod combinations. ---x2 will cut you off from something.

lordeggo​ I would rather use 6 forma (assuming the weapon has no innate polarities) to get the builds I want on them than put in the extra time to put 2 more. Levelling and relevelling is not really something I like to do a lot and I don't change my builds beyond my original planned builds.

Madway Depends if you go past the level range where the difference in builds makes a difference. Using a 90%x2 Soma setup is garbage against lvl 100+ armored enemies at the same time you'll want the extra Viral Primed Cyro gives you if you're doing CPx4 or high level Infested and Primed Bane is a perfect alternative to Bladed Rounds.

Just an FYI. couldn't see it in the comments Incase someone else already corrected you. With toggled abilities, that use Energy per Second, max fleeting, with max streamline, and at least 40% duration. gives you the best possible energy per second. 175% efficiency is NOT the cap.

Other than this guide being quite wordy and slightly all over the place, it covers most points that I would have mentioned for this guide. I would have also included that using the base mods for abilities (intensify and continuity for example) are not bad when starting out with builds, since they allow one to see for the lower level content how the abilities work with different mods added on, and when it is worth putting on different mods on (for example if your warframe has only one ability affected by duration, is it worth adding duration to boost that ability or just have no duration?) So good job!

They really should release an item or a way to adjust polarity at a certain point. I find like it could be a pain in the ass if you forma and later find out you have to change it. This goes for if the devs do a rework or if you found a better way to build said item/frame. Maybe they could make it when you use a forma then you can pay credits to change its polarity?

Just on the base of knowing how to read I have a decent idea of how to build a strong frame. Ash prime is my main guy right now. I don't go too deep with polarity. I got rejuvination, piercing step, vitality, fast deflection, steel fiber, armored agility, rapid resilience, flow, vigor. For my nikana prime, I'm a fan of north wind so i go critical build with cold and slash. Simple, cut and dry and does loads of damage. I rely on melee devastation instead of abilities. You never run out of melee...

One of the things i see a lot of from people is that they forma every slot, literally, they put a build on that they put together with basic mods, and then forma every slot that doesn't have a polarity, have like 15-30 extra capacity, and i'm just like... WHY!? and these are the people that then complain that using forma takes too much time to do it to every frame. I constantly tell people they only need to forma the highest rank modded slots to free up the necessary capacity to fit your full build on. Most frames can have a full build and still have extra with only 1 to 4 forma and i see people running around 8 to 10 forma... this not only can limit you in terms of having multiple builds, but then you have to forma even more if you ever wanted or needed to change it.

I actually run a negative efficiency on my rhinos roar build. The extra power strength is worth it and you throw duration on it and maybe a stretch but i usually for go thw stretch and just go with a pure power duration build. I dont even use any survivability mods like redirection steel fiber or even vitality. Extra strength or duration is worth it i think besides you dont have to worry about much with iron skin cause power strength= super iron skin so not really necessary. But thats my opinion

Of course you can Forma for an augment. Sometimes you have to forma for an augment, eventhough its most of the time a wrong polarity in an alternative build. so you have to forma another polarity in, to get it even again.I mean, who formas for Augur Reach, etc. its even cheaper. I know this video is from 2016, so this info is obviously outdated, but i just wanted to point this out.

But Rio, some of us new players like MR3/MR4 don't have the mods. We have some vitality and some redirection and some streamline and that's all we got. We gotto use what we have. Maybe you could do a video about farming mods?

Max Fleeting is still worth using on some frames long as it's the only efficiency mod you're using. Nyx and Mesa come to mind.

This entire fairy-tale concept of "correctly" modding a warframe is silly. I will take a loki with just a vigor on him with a Rakta Dark Dagger with just lifestrike and covert lethality on it and complete just about any content in this game. All of this shit is over thought. So here's "warframe modding in a nutshell. If you want an ability to last longer add duration if you want it to hit harder add strength and, if you want your abilities to be cheap add efficiency, rinse and repeat until success. If you're still confused, you where never going to be successful anyway....
