@Jarismic I know a friend of mine would love the hour glass female helldiver. She's all about the curves and feminine aesthetic. She might pair it with the animal ear helmets if they can stack. XD I'm more interested in possible weapon skin mods. Maybe some armor skin mods. I'm a fan of red and we don't have much outside of the recent....hellhound? Is that what it's called? The flinch reduction is cool but not as cool as having 2 extra stims that last longer like the medic armor. I went from fortified to medic sets but not a fan of the green to them. (I know I'm being picky)

@luimtegger haha your friend won't have any issues finding feminine character mods, you can definitely get the cat ears mod to work with other mods too but you have to do it in a particular order in the mod managert (put the cat ears on top). There's also a huge amount of halo mods for weapons if you're into that. Also if your like red check out the different chaosdiver mods too

That ones a pretty big mod and it's got so many items so it's a bit confusing how to install and not as simple as doing what I showed in this video. You'll have to download which ever version you want, then there should be multiple folders in it (like "body" and "blue visor"). I think you might have to zip each folder (like "body") and install that single folder into mod manager and do the same for the rest of the folders. It gets a bit confusing with big mods like that one, so I suggest going to the modding discord server by clicking the discord icon on the mod manager and asking for some help there

Correct for both. As long as the mods you use are cosmetic/sound ONLY, you'll be fine. So don't download cheats or you'll get banned by anti-cheat

Yeah a few of them are mutually exclusive, some armors share materials and stuff I guess, usually the b08, infiltrator, and eradicator mods

You can still play with either friends or randoms with any of these mods installed. They will only affect how the game looks for you

Those would modify program files and inset numbers, and would get you banned right quick.

Depends on the mods. I use a mod that disables the HUD when u press a button and you can't use mod manager for that. All cosmetic and sound mods should be fine but performance ones you probably won't be able to use mod manager. Also you *shouldnt* get banned but there is no guarantee since mods aren't officially supported

You basically just need to end up in the same folder as I show in the tutorial (the games files). If you follow the part where i open the game files through steam then copy and paste its location into the folder that comes up when you press the three dots, it should work

Not at all. All cosmetic and sound mods are client only, meaning only whoever has the mods downloaded will see it. If you and a friend both download the same mods then you'll both see and hear the same thing, but randoms that don't have the mods will not

Correct, most mods just replace the original texture/sound file with a custom one. That also makes the mods client sided, so you can still use mods while playing with others who aren't using them, but only you will see the mods unless your friends download the same ones

What kind of mods are they? If it's armour then check to make sure your using the correct body type (lean/brawny). If it's sound mods it's possible the new update might have broken them. If it's ui mods like disabling capes/HUD, they cannot be used with mod manager and have to be installed manually

Not exactly sure what you're asking sorry. But I have tried using vortex in the past since I use that for skyrim and every other game, but it doesn't seem to always work properly whereas the HD2 MOD MANAGER works every time for me. They might’ve fixed vortex so it works properly now but I haven't tried it in a while

The developers don't mind you using cosmetic mods like the ones I show in my review, but because mods are not officially supported by the game there's a risk that the anti cheat may mistake your mods as hacks. But that's never happened so far and I've installed over 100 mods, so you should be fine

@Seaker35 it will come up with a virus warning the first time you install it, but it hasn't done that for me when I reinstall it any time after the first time. It also doesn't do it for individual mods. I'm not very knowledgeable in IT software so I'm not sure why windows comes up with the virus mention, but I believe it's got to do with it not having a proper author or business credits in the installer file so windows sees it as not being trustworthy. But yes it's 100% safe (as long as you only download it from the nexusmods website) I've installed it on multiple computers with no issue and you can even contact the creator of the mod manager on nexusmods if you have any concerns
