Now I find a tutorial on how to make a Teapot. Mine took me a whole day with tweaking vertices just to get it into shape and then I find this one that does it in less that 15 minutes. I also didn't know you could extrude along a curve and now I do. If I hadn't submitted it already I'd redo it. but oh well. it came out pretty good for a first attempt. thanks for the tutorial. I will be liking this one.

I've been watching this teapot tutorial as I'm new to Maya and at 5:51 that transition totally confused me as I'm trying to drag select the spout but nothing happening

It’s like when we have to create a cable but little bit different. it’s the same logic!!! The tool you used it’s VERY useful (target wild).

Im having a problem about body modelling... If I want to create body parts separately how can I connect them together without having ngons and tris... Now that is hard... especially connecting the head to the neck...
@samleeke83224 жыл бұрын
Accelerator as far as modeling for animation and games I always create the head and neck as a bust and have it fill out the inside of the shirt so that you can’t see any clipping or see inside of the shirt.

you click too fast on buttons and commands i got totally lost which made this tutorial really hard to track and learn from it, i wasted a lot of time googleing some commands so i can learn them. This video is really good if you know how to use Maya but if you are new you will waste too much time trying to figure out where some tools are.

very interesting, in 3d max, there is a default teapot, but in maya, we have to create by ourselves.
