Thanks for the easy video, I just did mine in like 2 minutes using regular kitchen scissors...didnt have a small snip tool but I still got scissors to work cutting the small basket out. Thanks a ton!

Amazing!! Unfortunately the top wont snap on fully with the air stone in there. I think it’s due to a jagged edge where I cut the plastic. Busting out my manicure drill!!

Now it will function as a normal filter and blow more bubbles, correct? And I will just need one tube for both the airstone and filter connected to the air pump?

Is it okay for the air stone to just rest on top of the bottom piece that tubing would normally connect to and the air stone just float around?

They work great. You can use a dual outlet air pump or two singles.

Why did you cut the large hole in the bottom piece, as the air stone doesn't even go down that far.
