How To - Modify the QRM Eliminator for use with RF Amplifier

In this video I have modified the QRM Eliminator for use with an RF Power amplifier.
I have changed the SO239 to proper threaded SO239 sockets
I have added 1A fuse and holder for the DC power supply
I have added an additional RCA socket to connect to a power amplifier - meaning the QRM Eliminator is switching to bypass a split second before TX of the amplifier.

A lot easier to just connect the eliminator between the radio and amplifier.

@@billygm6dx720 Wouldn't it be simpler to just use an RCA Y-adapter to connect the radio and amp to the RCA jack on the unit? I don't understand why the unit needs to be modified at all. Seems to be a waste of resources doing it that way.

I’m new at this, what is the reason for the RCA jacks? Don’t you key the mic that’s connected to your radio I’m going to run my eliminator on a 10 m/Cb radio. and also the unit I bought has the same name as your unit but does not have the lights on the front for transmit and receive and is supposedly built to use only 100 W did I buy the right one. I appreciate your reply or anyone who can reply. Thank you.

Just place the QRM eliminator between the radio and amplifier, most radio's are only 100 Watts so no modifications needed.
