Nice yojumbo with the dlc black. With the convenience of the compression lock, a very good edc folding knife design by Janich, both utilitarian and with self defense in mind. I liked the yojimbo 2 so much, I had to get a yojumbo as well, mine are in satin s30v with black g10. My only issue is the yojumbo had no jimping on the top edge forward from the compression lock like the yojimbo 2.

I saw a grip once in a show (Jack Reacher, please don't judge), where he had his index finger extended along the spine of the blade. I've played with that a few times and discovered something very interesting, in that it allowed you to choke up higher on the hilt for a lower profile grip overall. Your finger would shield the blade from view in some ways. Seemed useful for a subtle attack. Or I could seat the pommel in my palm the way you demonstrated in this movie. Thoughts on this grip?

Very useful as discussed we can conceal, have increased flexibility in the wrist, and upon impact the finger shifts toward the grip for added strength!
