Really great video, very helpful as I bought my first 360 camera (gopro max) and was wondering how to mount it to my kayak. Do you use a remote to start recording or do reach up to press record? I had thought about using a remote to start recording but I think I’ll try your suggestion of putting the camera at eye level first. Thanks and I subscribed to your channel!

Thanks for watching and subscribing, I really appreciate that! Have used my camera to start my 360 cam but I mostly just press the button now and crop out any unwanted video from the beginning and end of my clips in post.

Hey! This Jackson Tupelo was a GoPro edition and came with the mount attached to the kayak. It was pretty cool because it was attached by a swivel screw. I have a Delta kayak now and I attached my GoPro mounts using the adhesive strips that you can get for them but it doesn't feel as foolproof. I kind of miss that about the Jackson.
