I tried this yesterday and nearly ripped my abdominal adhesions but we'll give it another go. I've got one of those two seater plush made in China cheap as chips no wheels or cups, flat bottom but it has attached back cushions halfway down in the cushions is a solid back and when it's on it's end the solid back and the side of the end just absolutely refuse to go through and I tried every which way just like you're doing here. I will try again this afternoon but if you have any tips for these cheapest chips Chinese all-in-one ready-made plush two-piece sofas with attached back cushions give us a bell please 😂 thanks

Unfortunately, this isn't working for us. Because the couch is so tall in the tight hallway. The ceiling height is 7'11 and the couch is 8'1 😢. So now it's literally sitting in the hallway cause I can't take it back to furniture store.

Whats the issue? Ive helped move over 6000 people and ive moved sofas through doors other movers were not able to make happen. Shoulder dollies work great going through the front door and free up your hands. Also take the feet off especially the back feet...

It doesn't matter. You can tilt it even if the couch is taller.

@@donpazerThey aren't measuring the L shape of the back and across the seat, just height of back from floor and depth of seat. I have a 86" couch with 38" seat depth and 39" height from floor to top of back. It's coming through either a 30" doorway or a 32" doorway. Makes sense they tilt it or it ain't happening and the store will have to give me back the $2,200!

Its one with fluffy cushions. So the back isnt as high as normal sofas. So its super easy to get through doors. There are alot more tricks to sofa through a door. Most of the time you do not have to take the door off nor the feet. But if youre unskilled in moving. Id recommend to take the door off and the feet off.
