Manufacturers often say that a washer is to be transported in the upright position only. What if you buy a new one in the store and want to transport it home yourself? You'd have to put it on its side. Is that a problem?

Do you have to secure the drum from banging around inside a washing machine when moving it?

If you're moving it far we suggest securing it so it stays in the right place.
