How to Move Audio Events to New Tracks WITHOUT Layers

In this video, I demonstrate how to move audio events to a new track WITHOUT moving all the associated layers. Although Layers can be useful, once the final comp is done, many producers and engineers prefer to move the comp to a brand new track, leaving the original track(s) as backup.
From this point, it's very easy to consolidate the new audio, and work with the final rendered resulting audio events.

its interesting that before i found this little checkbox i did overthinking for long period of time how necessary this methodic would be. also this flag is very handy when you doing chaotic edits in yours layers and relate to them like its separate audio tracks.

Marcus - this is similar to my workflow but some good tips there about Layers Follow Events - I have been working on some macros to assist this process for duplicating the track and its settings and copying and bouncing the events. Anything that proves useful I will post on Exchange. By the way, I loved that track by Ana Lia (was it?) and it's a regular on my playlist.

SUGGESTION: On a completely different track, have you done a video for Orchestral music on the tempo track following a performance because the changes of speeding up and slowing down are an important part of the performance. And also, how this would be ported over to Notion? I've seen a video with Notion, but I'm not clear on how to approach this problem.

Excellent Video. Question Please: Is there a way to just nudge the play head on the audio track timeline? Sometimes I just want to move it in very small increments multiple times and I don't know if there's a keystroke or some other way just to nudge it in very small steps. Example: In a video program I use I can hit either the Left or Right Arrow keys to move the play head just one frame at a time. If I could do similar with Studio One, it would be great in certain circumstances...Thanks. Phil NYC / Jersey Shore Area
