Thanks for the detailed description. On my previous install my electrician managed to connect my heavy draw items (oven, pool pump, geyser) to the non-essential loads with it being a seamless connection. This allowed solar to be shared onto those items when there was solar, as well as a percentage of the battery (when in General mode). With my new installation the guys haven’t been able to get that right which is disappointing as I went with the Goodwe inverter for that reason. Any idea how that would have worked?

Hi Tom, It could be that the meter is incorrectly installed. Try support@goodwe.com they can check the unit remotely.

4mm wire is to small for a 40Amp circuit breaker 6mm wire just scrapes through to pass on a 40 Amp breaker Also your geyser now has to be on earth leakage And also you pool pump has always needed to be on earth leakage If you had an inverter like a Sunsynk, you wouldn't have needed that extra change over switch, because it will back feed to your main DB when there is excess solar, as long as it is on the same phase

Sorry. You are correct. I was mistaken, it was 6mm2 Thanks for pointing that out
