Berardi Immigration Law

2 жыл бұрын

Each year hundreds of thousands of Canadians travel to the United States for work, vacation or shopping. What some of these visitors may not realize is that they’re subject to U.S. immigration law and may require work permits, waivers, or green cards. You may be eligible for a work permit depending on your education and profession.
Our office specializes in the preparation and submission of work permit requests for Canadians immigrating to the USA as well as working with those who wish to live in the U.S. for various reasons. Located in Buffalo, New York, were only minutes from the Peace Bridge. We work with Canadians in Southern Ontario and across Canada.

I'm definitely immigrating to the USA. I've already set myself on a path. I'm in college and it's my goal to finish college, get a job with a TN visa and go there. After working there, I'll get my employer to sponsor my green card and then. my journey will be complete

Whats a TN visa?
@honkhonk8009
@honkhonk8009 Жыл бұрын
@@alialiyev6168 For Canadian/Mexican citizens, due to the NAFTA and now USMCA agreement, you can basically just show up to the border whenever you want, prove you have a job offer, and within an hour, you should be on your way. Atleast thats how its suposed to work, in reality its a little more tedious than that lol. You also must renew it every 3 years. But its not really a big deal since you can renew it indefinitely. Renewing it is only not allowed when your applying for a greencard like you would with an EB-3

@@etc__123 Iv honestly had enough of Trudeau. I live in Vancouver and have seen this city go from utopia in 2015, to a gloomy shithole in 2023. The biggest wakeup call was seeing the first world conditions your average working class albertan lives. My dad earns $175k a year and we aint even remotely close to the standard of living Alberta has. Im moving to houston. No zoning laws there. Texas hates communists and bureaucrats. I think il fit in.

only main thing I hate is the healthcare is very expensive and political divided but finding a good job here is much easier than in Canada and its more entertaining and more things to do here. Its also easy to make the right friends around here and is much more immigrant friendly.

@@fewkeyfewkey5414yes USA is best I am sure if we did post graduate degree diploma program finance and investments from a Canadian reputed public college or a masters degree from a university in canada as well as a bachelor’s degree in commerce ( accounting) in home country , is widely accepted by American employers without the need to be upgraded at all ? Correct me if I am wrong . Also Canadian education is very tough and better than USA In terms of quality that what I heard now . In canada not everyone graduates, in USA after the hard part to get in the university everyone almost 95%+ graduates . As USA is hard to get in the business schools but canada is relatively easier to get in I feel .

When applying to jobs in th US one of the employer's common questions is "Are you legally authorized/eligible to work in the US?". I presume, having no work visa you cannot answer yes. On the other hand, you have to get a job offer first to be abble to apply for work visa. A circle with no ends. So, what comes first - work visa or job offer?

What makes it difficult then? The fact that you need sponsorship from employer or U.S. spouse? Because that requirement is about the same from every other developed nation such as Canada, UK, Australia or NZ but it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s easier or harder. I thought you were going to dive deeper into why it is difficult (i.e. onerous paperwork, Expensive, USCIS messy process, long-processing times etc.)

Only pathway for that is the l - 130 which take anywhere between 15-35 years for approval. Mexico typically is the longest wait. That's just for the green card too, let alone permanent residency and is often considered a big money trap since the process is so lengthy. Heard stories of people doing that process for over 20 years just to be denied right at the end, even after pouring money into it. So as the creator has mentioned "not a viable pathway for sponsorship."
