IF you say buy a Windows license from the Microsoft Store to activate Windows on a VM does the first or second import option keep the Windows license you bought from the Microsoft Store to activate your Windows VM?

I've tried multiple times, and each time it says cannot find VM. The most user-unfriendly export/import I've ever seen. I've tried exporting with the Manager, with PowerShell, etc, and every time it says it cannot find the VM, despite the fact it's there on the folder. VMware where are you when I need you?

I have the same problem when moving the files to a different host computer.

It's worse when you have to export to a shared network drive temporarily. Thus far, I haven't seen a tutorial video on that.

Same thing happens to me. Either exporting or copying, says no VM found in the folder(s) i choose.

Having used VMWorkstation for years, where this simple operation is very easy, I can only conclude that HyperV is such piece of junk by comparison. I’ve gone back to VMware.

I repeatedly get Did not find virtual machines to import. My files have full permissions, I think you might have to use the HyperV export before it can pick them up, least with the current version.
