Pay attention to what we call love these days: Sometimes people don't really love you, they just love how you love them and use that to make you feel loved. They enjoy your presence and feel comfortable around you, but there will come a time when they will get bored of you and you will realise that it wasn't love but they were in it with you for fun, and you NEED to do the hard part of Moving on.....

Working on ourselves and doing things that we love doing - having a life outside of the past relationship - will help us to move on from the wrong person. And maintaining those actions whether in a relationship or not, is always great for oneself and will attract the right partner for the long term - when we also have a life and interested outside our our relationship - single or not. Whoever is watching this, I pray you have a prosperous and fulfilling life overall! 😘❤️
Thanks - Nathalie! I appreciate it. Personal Development is one of the best things you can do for yourself - because, we as human beings, we’re supposed to embrace growth! So make sure you find your Purpose in life - whatever it might be, and work on it daily, and continue to make progress, because progress is - really the key to happiness. But don’t do it for any girl or guy, make sure you’re doing it for yourself - and just be happy! Anyway, that’s my two cents. -Carlos Verde - Dating Tips

It's been 2 weeks since we broke up. As much as she's made it clear that she wants to move on from me, there's always been a part of me that thinks that we'll try and find a way to get back together. But I realized that it's taking a toll on me mentally because she was all that I was thinking about and I still felt strongly about her, that I forget that I had a life of my own. 😂 Some nights I cried myself to sleep and waking up sad, wondering what I would've done differently.. I was literally a mess! But after watching this video yesterday, I did exactly what Jessica had said (completely cutting her off) and focusing on myself more, I seem to enjoy being in my own space. 🙂💌 I learned that self love is more important than giving out love. Yes, I know that it's just been 2 weeks and I haven't completely gotten her out of my system, but forsee myself living life a lot better with peace of mind. Thank you Jessica 🙏

We give to much for the person we love and forget to love ourselves. This is what I have learned. Learned to love yourself before you can love somebody. God remove that person out of your life. 10 things to quit for all Strong Men: 1. Caring about what others think 2. Not believing in yourself 3. Not experimenting different ideas / solutions for problems (life&business) 4. Not prioritizing your health 5. Wasting your precious time 6. Wanting something (instead write a plan and work towards it) 7. Chasing meaningless relationships 8. Wasting or draining your energy from beating your meat 🥩 9. Wasting time by scrolling social media 10. Nailbiting/nailpicking habit for good (if you do it - consider stopping it as it makes you mentally weak + affects your confidence and all other areas of your life!) Great tips! If you’ve been cheated on, don’t close off your heart to love - learn from it, and move on! (I know it’s easier said than done) You’re not the first person whose trust have been betrayed, nor will you be the last. It’s ok, it’s part of life. Just work on yourself before you get into another relationship, and you’ll be much smarter, and more alert this time - and you’ll be able to recognize the red flags a lot quicker when things are not going the way they’re supposed to. And remember, what doesn’t kill you - can only make you stronger! Cheers! Anyway, that’s my two cents. -Carlos Verde - Dating Tips

When I video call her, she would shout at me and tell me to not call her while she is busy. She no longer has time for me, she no longer calls me, for checking up on me, but she always has time for her friends and for her male besties. You just made me realize the importance of freeing myself from this mental slavery. I have just deleted her numbers and I have blocked her on facebook. I now feel much more better, I feel free. After 2,5 years I can say that we sometimes think it’s love, but it’s a very similar abusive story we know from childhood. We think it’s love but we never experienced love in the first place, at home. I am super happy that I resolve my traumatic childhood in therapy. I learn how true love feels. There are no worries that she leaves, or goes away. She is not questioning our relationship every day. We are interdependent and not depending on each other. From my experience the majority of people believe that the partner is responsible for their happiness. And exactly this is the beginning of the end of the relationship. Interdependence is the opposite of the Hollywood narrative. Forget Hollywood. Learn to be happy on your own…

Thank you very much Jessica, I'm glad I found this video. I'm currently going through a heartbreak. In this very month, her parent (father) rejected me. I'm not so sure how true this is because I'm only hearing this from her. To make the matter worse, she's my secretary and we work closely together in my own company. Cutting communication with her means she has to quit the job and this could potentially impact negatively to my business as all my clients directly communicate with her. It's a dilemma that I'm going through. I would be bold enough to take your advice, but there are strings attached. Remember I'm a foreigner in her country where I established my company.

A lot of these types of situations are the result of unmet needs from your caregivers as a child. We subconsciously want to right the wrongs in our youth and many times we find a partner that has the characteristics of that parent figure (typically Mom or Dad) in the person we are dating so we can get that love/affection/attention/praise etc we didn't get from that parent figure. So we try to do it with the person we date. This is a form on co-dependance and it's not healthy at all. Go get some therapy, figure out your wounded inner child and do the work required to make you a healthy individual who's ready for a relationship. Until you do the work, you'll never be ready for a healthy relationship.
