How to Move the LATCH Strap from Rear-Facing to Forward-Facing on a Graco 4Ever Extend2Fit

Learn how to switch the LATCH strap from the rear-facing belt path to the forward-facing belt path so you can easily switch your carseat from rear-facing to forward-facing with very little effort. Thanks so much. Its beyond me why the maker of these car seats don't make a video. Do none of them have children and use their own product? The user manual instructions that comes with the carseat skips the whole part about what you actually have to do to move the latch belt under the cushion. This was super helpful.

Is there a way to swap sides? When it was rear facing it was great because I could tighten the strap from outside the car now that its forward facing I have to go into the other side of the car to tighten the strap

No, the metal bar prevent this. If you keep the seat pad pulled back, you should be able to tighten from either side (although it may be easier from one side or the other. The video notes state the bar is to help keep the straps from getting twisted.
