Great video bro. I try to explain this to other producers but most of them aren't satisfied unless the returns are damn near instant. I'm averaging $250 weekly spent on advertising and sometimes I only break even on them but my brand is growing fast.

Hey Adam, loved this video! Such an important topic. This is what my goals are: - Be financially free in the next few years & live my ideal lifestyle - Make music that I love and become a highly successful recording/solo artist and bespoke composer for trailers, games, films and TV, and move people with all the music I'm involved with (solo work, bespoke composition, co-writing, producing, etc.) - Help other musicians, creatives and entrepreneurs overcome their biggest challenges and create the life that they dream of

Since I was young I knew I wanted to change the world with music. Music that would motivate somebody anybody to get up and make a positive impact on themselves or those around them. To help heal the hearts of this world. This was my goal from an early age, and am still looking to be a part of a project that is on the same page. Music is powerful, and money is important for where it belongs. Zakk Wylde once told me, when you do anything do it with passion, and the fame and fortune are just a side effect from your hard work and dedication.. warm hugs brother!!

My dream is to be able to produce art (mainly music, but other art as well [photography, videography, graphic design, etc.]) for a living and to be able to provide myself with a sustainable, realistic income from it. I'm not trying to be a millionaire. It'd be nice if I do get there. But if I could just do what I want to do (which is create art in all forms) and provide my family and I with a sustainable income and live comfortably, I'd be ok with that. That is my dream, Adam. I've just recently discovered you today by accident and, I must say, I like the way that you present REAL advice. It's not bullshit. I can tell. I've been around it my whole life. And, thanks to the internet, I've seen and heard more of it than I've ever wanted to. Thank you, Adam... is all that I'm really saying here. I'm currently a year away from graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Audio Production from Full Sail. I have a 40-hour/week day job, school, two kids, a crazy/psychotic girlfriend who is also the mother of one of those kids (whom I love), and a lover of art in all forms (especially music). Nice to meet you. Keep doing what you're doing and I wish you nothing but the best.

I really appreciate every single video you post to the community! I have spoke with you a few times in the last 5 or so years and it's always a pleasure. I've invested thousands of dollars over the last few years on music. only drawback is I've never taken the steps to make a website or go about trying to be heard. so at the moment my dream is just to become a noticed and respected producer. I'd love to be the guy that people ask questions, connect with, and are curious about what what my next move is.

What I have is not a dream but a goal, that I will make into a reality. I'm planning on buying a house, building a studio in there, making a living of music. I wanna help artist with actual talent getting noticed. I also wanna make such a good income, that I can donate a noticeable amount of money to scientist, to help them in their journey to figure out how we can cure, and kill cancer. I also wanna do something about the psychiatry in Denmark. I wanna donate a lot of money to help them, helping their patiens. 'Cause like me, they are loosing their patiens. This might sound all good, but do I have a plan to get there? Ofc I do. To put it very short, I'm scheduling my day so I can make the most out of every hour. I'm believing in myself to the point where the ones closest to me think I'm crazy. Oh well, that's enough connecting with people for today :) Back to the studio! - Ps, see ya in where I'm living the dream! And to anyone else who may have a crazy sounding dream, like me, do not forget - to enjoy the journey, and appreciate every single step on it!

Your perspectives greatly helped correct my mistakes. Sometimes I feel it's too late, but I do believe in myself. My dream is simple, really. Build a youtube channel where I share my original songs to as many people as possible, collab with a lot of fellow artists, and hoping that this will be sustainable for the rest of my life. I got here with me 900 pesos (roughly $20). My cousin lent me his old iphone (it has a cracked body but it works though missing a charger). this video has been so timely. Now I'm going to invest this small portion on this little dream I have coz of you're video. The smallness made me feel helpless but this video really helped me put my focus back on track. Right now I'm also crawling my way into borrowing/acquiring used equipment to better the product--the videos that belong to the people, another lesson I learned from you. Thank you. This channel has been so helpful & motivating. At times when I feel lost I don't know the next step, a video of yours really gets me back on track!

I'm a music producer, competitive gamer, video editor, graphic art designer I'm using all of my natural crafts I've naturally learned since I started playing the drums when I was 5 years old. I'm now 27 and ill be 28 on July 31st and this has been a long journey for me and I have not gave up. My family supports my decisions in going full time with everything I do and that has been my biggest motivator so far then all my friends keep urging me on and so far in only a 2 year time frame I have came a long way yet I still learn every day and keep growing. After my KZbin channel was hacked I made a new one and never gave up. even though that was a big loss to me I never gave up. I say never give up and prove them haters wrong and use their negativity and turn it into a positive as everything has a negative and positive in life to create a equal balance to every equation. That positive energy is fueled by the negative energy and same as the negative is fueled by the positive. Only you have the power to do what you want to do and what ever energy you put out is what you will get in the end result if you build off of what energy-you receive to fuel your motivation. follow me on twitter to reach out to me or see what I'm about and we can grow together. Its a mutual growth we grow together. @Am3r1c4nPsycho1 www.reverbnation.com/am3r1c4npsycho facebook.com/am3r1c4npsycho I will do what I can to help you grow even if its a follow back and share some of your content to my followers. Great Video Adam! Having a business is like having your own crops/Plants, you can't just expect that plant to grow from just sunshine alone. You need to constantly invest in it whether that be watering the plant, re-potting, changing the soil etc... Another thing in regards to reinvestment, when you have finished eating your fruit you can make more by planting the seeds from the fruit you have just finished to get more fruits.

note to self... "dont blow in the business, show the grow instead." Yeah it does sound dirty. I been away from music for 10 years following corporate dream and now after hitting the bottom it is all that remained so I am taking it up starting as a hobby and one day monetize my self. Right now I want to build a study to get around limitations in processing my talent and manifesting my expression in a more tangible form, phone app audio editing/auto tune is frustrating, time consuming and feels like a cock block trying to get to second base. So, im saving up for it.

To give every other weirdo, freak, and social reject out there solace in knowing that they aren't alone and that they ARE beautiful and that its okay to be themselves. and in doing that, I myself will know that I am not alone either. and that I am more than just a fucked up, broken mind. It can be a good practice to pay yourself, rather than pay the business. Whatever you make from your business (music) is 'business' profit, and you make a salary from that. Everything else still belongs to the business and should be invested in the business.

My dream is to be able to consistently make music. And just make the songs I want to make. I love everything about making music writing process recording. And I love it “in the booth” I don’t care about fame and fortune. But my dream is to be able to feed my family with my music rather than my 9-to-5. I don’t mean I want to quit my job because I I’ve just finished studying to get myself qualified as a youth worker with disadvantaged kids. (another thing music is great for building a rapport Which kids that don’t trust many people, if any. So doing my job because it feel something in my life combined with music which is a bit more selfish. My dream would be to be making a kind of money that allows me to make my next project without putting my family through financial stress. In a nutshell.. to be able to make my musical projects without it affecting my family’s day to day lives... That’s my dream. Adam : I wrote you a big long email. It’s under my real name. I want to be that different type of person where I'd have a legit channel nothing but all my work and a few true fans but in the future maybe bigger. There nothing wrong with payin for views but I rather work HAAARD and be known for doing it myself instead of having another person or what ever reasons such as other promotions promoters blow my channel for me. It just make me feel even better makes me know I actually achieved something myself. I believe I can do it I know youtube takes time but I came a long way except the fact I deleted LOAAAADS of videos. But that's to step back up and re try with better content.

My biggest dream is to become a world famous musician BUT ONLY if it credited properly. I wouldn't want to be world famous if i didnt make music that wasnt amazing. More seriously though my biggest life goal is to make a living off of making beats, playing drums, and selling products to where i don't have to have a regular job that I don't like

My dream is just to make good music and to gain a following and have people listen and appreciate it. I don't want it as a source of income, I just want people to hear my message and have them connect with it.

I want to be able to hear my music in movies or tv. I also want to use my skills learned to teach a music boot camp for kids wanting to be artist or producers. Help give them a few jewels or nuggets to get started on there path while keeping them out of trouble.

Good vids. Got paid yesterday, bills took it all. That's not life. Me dream is to sing, act and reach lives, and never "work" again. Everything you said is poignant to my new day brutha.
